On tap at the tap house in minot. Orange golden, cream head. Done citrus and pine aroma. Pretty run of the mill stuff but we’ll executed. Ratman197 (14822) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - AUG 7, 2014
Bottle poured a hazy orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, earthiness and light citrus. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of caramel, earthiness and light citrus with a smooth dry bitter lingering earthy finish. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 5, 2014
Pours a copper color with off-white head. Bread, malt, and just a bit of citrus on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more malt. More of a red than a pale ale. Biggar2000 (20) - - FEB 23, 2014
A good beer in my opinion. One to just relax and enjoy. Has a bit of, coffee, roasty, grass, spruce taste that I don’t like, but it isn’t as strong as some other beers. So I say give it a try. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 10, 2013

Clear amber colour with a small white head.
Sweet fruity hops, moderate bitterness and some caramel in the aroma.
The flavour is rather easy but not bad. There’s sweet fruity hops, sweet caramel and mild bitterness. Very drinkable. Maybe a bit too sweet...
Bottle, LOL. Seemed really metal-ly. I drank most of it and kept thinking it tasted like tin foil. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Bottle. Pours golden amber with a white head. Toffee sweet malts, grains, and lightly citric and floral hoppy notes, followed by a balanced sweet and hoppy finish. A pretty run-of-the-mill APA. jtclockwork (16561) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Bottle at Blipp’s surprise tasting. Pours copper amber with white head. Nose and taste of light caramel malt, old citrus and grapefruit rind, light pine and resin. Touch sticky. Lighter medium body. jcnielsen (3412) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle in Iowa City. Thanks to adnielsen for sharing. Pours a copper color with white head. Piney, resiny, hoppy, caramel aromas. Caramel, spicy, dry hopped flavors. Meh. cubs (10634) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle @ Holiday Inn Iowa City picked up @ John’s Grocery. Pours a clear burnt orange appearance with an off white head. Somewhat dull herbal, woody hoppy, slightly spicy aroma. Smells a bit old. Caramel, light cardboard, a bit bready, a bit spicy, woody flavor. This bottle must be a bit old but I can’t imagine it would be much better fresh.
