2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
pours a dark goldenwith no head. This pale ale is plain, watered down withs some tastes of hops and light bitterness and slightly grassy.
12 oz bottle from the $10,000 Bar in Montana. Aroma is perfumy, floral, caramel, spicy, buttered toast. Pours hazy copper with a medium bone-white head that falls into a collar after a minute; laces a little. Taste is sweet and caramelly, finishing lightly bitter. Too malty for my tastes. Not sure how old it is. Beerandhockey8 (403) - Three Forks, Montana, USA - MAY 1, 2016
From 12oz bottle to snifter. Pour is a light yellow/orange, thin tan head. Nose is hoppy, ready, resin. Taste is light-medium bodied, bitter. Finishes abrupt. Not bad, just simple. Capa (3295) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - MAR 31, 2015
A pretty standard pale ale. Lightly citrus and floral with a bit of sweetness in the malty backbone. Refreshing and easy going pale ale. Good flavor without being over the top. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - DEC 13, 2014
Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance-The beer is served a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of pure white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading to leave a lighter level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell- The aroma of the beer is heaviest of a bready and caramel smell mixed with some lighter hop aromas of a pine and citrus grapefruit nature. There is a little bit of a grassy smell as well as a light earthy smell which round out the aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a somewhat drier bready and biscuit taste mixed with a decent showing of a citrus hop taste. The citrus gains a little bit of strength as the taste moves forward, with other lighter hop tastes of pine and an earthy nature coming to the tongue as the taste moves toward the end. Along with the hop, comes a little bit of a fruity taste with some peach and apple coming to the tongue. In the end, with the newly arrived hop and fruit, one is left with a middle range hopped and moderate bodied pale ale flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the beer is on the slightly thinner and crisper side with a carbonation level that is on the slightly lower side. The body was fairly appropriate for the style, but a little higher carbonation may have been slightly better, as it would have been nice for the blend of modest hop and malt which constitutes the flavor profile of the beer.
Overall- A decent pale ale, but nothing all that out of the ordinary. Decent, but more or less average overall.

[Bottle] Bright amber colored pour with a small but solid head. Floral and piney hop aromas. Citrus, pine needles, biscuits, bread and lemongrass in the taste. Finishes dry and grainy. More pine notes come out as the beer warms. Average body. An easy drinker.

12oz bottle pours with a clear deep copper body that supports a thin off white head. The aroma offers up malts, a bit of caramel malts and then faint spicy to slightly pine like malt sweetened hops. The taste starts with a mix of malts, modest pine hops, caramel malts and then some floral hops. It gets faintly earthy and spicy and dank before a whisper of floral hops bump those aside. It ends with a light roasted malt dryness as well as vague hop bitterness and malts. bhensonb (15187) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 25, 2014
Bottle from Yellowstone General Store at Old Faithful. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is roasty caramel with some citrus and floral. Med body. Flavor pretty much matches aroma. Pretty good APA. dfearnley (2134) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 26, 2014
Bottle to pint glass
Grapefruit, pine, pepper, and mold...kind of like Penicillium candidum, the mold you get on the outside of Brie. A clear light copper with a frothy white head. Grapefruit, orange, pine, celery...lots of hops; some nice light malt here as well. I’m rather enjoying this one. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - DEC 24, 2013
This is a pretty decent pale ale. Very light and fresh tasting. Mild grassy hops with a smidgeon of pine at the end. Picked this up in Sheridan, WY in 2013. RealChiSpise (4) - Colorado, USA - SEP 11, 2013 does not count
12 oz. bottle in a tulip, white head that dissipates, it’s a rainy day here so some nice condensation on the glass, this pour looks money. Hoppy nose, catching grassy floral notes. Taste light sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation, bitter. I’m left tasting the hops, and slight caramel malt. Glad I picked up this beer in Wyo before heading home. Hooked on the hopper.
