Smell of vanilla, coffee, bourbon and toasty malt. Come in dark red black, with thin tan head. Taste of vanilla, sweet bourbon, coffee, somewhat bitter. Smooth. Thick and slimy texture. Very good beer.

From a 22oz bomber. Pours dark brown with a one finger beige head. Aroma is vanilla first, followed by bourbon and roasted malt. Taste is again vanilla and bourbon sweetness at the front, followed by sweet roasted notes. Sweetness was a tad much for me due to its almost cloying nature. Medium-Full bodied and very oily. One of the best mad tree brews out there. Seek it out if in Cincinnati.

RBSG 2016 shared at the Grand Tasting after-party in the hotel lobby. Bottle. Very dark brown, beige head. Dark chocolate, understated barrel traits, spicy cinnamon undertones. Enjoyable.

Bottle at home. Thanks Brad! Pours black with a thick brown head. Good retention. Aroma is bourbon, vanilla, faint cocoa, coffee. Taste is bourbon, vanilla, fruity, ripe berry, a bit of toasted malt / burnt caramel. Slightly yeasty. Peppery. A bit distracting and out of place. Overall Pretty good! Full bodied, medium carbonation. Nice!

16.9 ounce bottle, no date on it that I could find but I believe its from a recent release a couple months or so ago. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with an inch or so tan head that lingered around a while. Theres also a lot of lacing. I like the aroma, it smells like bourbon, wood, vanilla, coffee and chocolate. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but theres also some dark fruit noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, its slick and smooth, and easy to drink. Moderate carbonation. I liked this brew, definitely worth picking up if you come across some! $11.99 a bottle.
