From notes. Tasted on 8/22/13 on draft at the brewpub during a baseball trip with Adam and Taylor. Pours clear pale yellow with an average white head that leaves average lace, coating the inside of the glass with residue. The nose is wheat cereal malt with some nice grapefruit and lemon peel hops. The flavor is more hops up front with the wheat providing body and the cereal flavor underlying. The body is light with lively carbonation and a medium hoppy finish. phaleslu (10673) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 1, 2014
Draft at The Brass Tap. Pours a clear bright gold with a finger of white head that lasts all the way down. Lovely aroma of grass, florals, citrus, and herbs, giving way to big wheat as it warms. Flavor of wheat, florals, bread, lemon, and hay. Light-bodied, with modest carbonation and a bright, summery mouthfeel. Finishes dry. Nice wheat ale. rondphoto (4494) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUN 27, 2014

Draft at the source, sample size. Pours a bright, very clear gold color with a small but lasting white head. Hops lead the aroma; lots of lemon and orange citrus, a little wheat and straw. The flavor starts very hoppy and citrusy and finishes very, very dry and wheaty. Light-bodied, with medium carbonatoin and a dry mouthfeel. Easy, crisp, dry summer beer.
on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear golden amber, fluffy rim head, dots of lace. Taste is light malt that is immediately joinedc by grapefruit bitters. That’s all there is. Taste is somewhat thin, and the body is lifeless. Not enough to recommend.tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - JUN 26, 2014

Clear dirty straw with a head that quickly reduces to the rim, no lace. Taste is astringent citrus wheat, malt, and floral hops (an interesting flavor that is unfamiliar) right up front, but not so strong that the drink is compromised. The finish is short and cleansing. Good with food, good for sessioning.
Draft. Pours gold, white head. Good retention/some lace. Aroma of wheat, lemon, citrus hop. Taste is lightly bitter, wheat, lightly sweet. Palate is soft, slick, light bitter finish. Very nice. Tmoney99 (14983) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 23, 2014

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2014 Draft to taster at MadTree (from 6/21/14 tasting notes). Looks good for the style; a transparent light gold with white lacing. Smells of citrus and wheat. Tastes like it smells with a good mouthfeel. A solid wheat ale. alexsdad06 (10818) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUN 6, 2014
Draft at Madtree from notes. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have pale wheat malts, lemon zest, grass, additional citrus, light peppery spice, flavor fades out at the dry finish. GnarlyGnome (1353) - Fairfield, Ohio, USA - FEB 15, 2014
Draft: thoroughly enjoyed this one... Fruity, wheaty. Sweet and refreshing. This is nothing that jumps out and smacks you in the face with flavors, but it’s solid, drinkable and refreshing. I loved it! Drjohnrock (841) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 1, 2013
Draft sample at 2013 Cincinnati Brew Ha Ha festival. Medium gold hue, nice fruity/wheat aroma, nice body but bittersweet taste is too watery. This brew is drinkable but below MadTree’s usual standards. drsordr (2868) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - AUG 7, 2013
Draft light yellow. Nose faint spice. Taste lemon bite, followed by wheat malt. Spicy finish. Refreshing after a long night of sand volleyball.
