Amber with little white head. Aroma is not much, some parsley, some malty juice stuff. Taste is sweet malts, alcohol bitterness. Medium finish of some bitter malts. Not so smooth. Meh.

MoritzF (10237) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - DEC 27, 2016
(bottle) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Slightly toasted, biscuity malty aroma with notes of caramel, hints of draff and a tinge of herbal hoppy spice. Moderately sweet and mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Biscuity cara-malt character, slightly sugary taste with a mildly herbal hops profile giving some balance; sweet malty and mildly hop bitter finish with notes of caramel and a herbal hoppy tail in the aftertaste. Süffig. 27.XII.16

pivnizub (10961) - Bochum, GERMANY - DEC 26, 2016
Bottle: Deep golden, clear, small+persistent off-white head, clean sweetish malty nose with shy traces of toasted malt and bread plus a delicate herbal-hoppy background; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, low carbonation; slightly lingering and drier malty-toasty finish with a slightly increasing hoppiness in the aftertaste. Clean and well crafted, as usual in Franconia...

50cl bottle as "Weihnachtsbier" from the brewpub. Pours clear very dark golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of toasted malt, dry hops, some nuts. Taste of toasted malt, nuts, spicy hops, okay!

Mariusz (12352) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - AUG 16, 2012
Blonde. Grassy hopbitter flavor with malt tones. Shy grassy aroma. A borning Festbier.

2.8
Koelschtrinker (22499) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 30, 2012
