(12 oz bottle: Chevy Chase Wine & Spirits in Washington, DC) Very fruity pale ale that tastes like apricots, or perhaps a bit of peach. Otherwise, it’s a fairly basic beer with a very mild hops bitterness that is also unexpectedly nutty and slightly caramely. Solid apricot aroma, and that’s about it. Light-medium body, gently carbonated and kind of slick on the palate. Slightly hazy and light amber in color. Half an inch of off-white head quickly settles to a thin film, and then eventually to a small ring, leaving spots and streaks of lace here and there on the glass. Not bad, but certainly not tasty enough for me to buy this again. Nejhleader (1559) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 26, 2005
Had on tap. Pretty nice stuff. Very smooth, a bit spicy. Seemed light, but not watery or anything. Coulda drank like 5 of these in 10 minutes. Bit of a sweet aftertaste. lamas (1636) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 24, 2005
Bottle. Please drink by end of: January. An orange pour with a small light-tan head. Apricots and wheat in the aroma. First and foremost, this beer just doesn’t taste that clean. There are weird chemical tastes throughout. Other than that, this isn’t too bad. Artificial apricot flavoring with some wheat and a little bit of hops. Slightly tangy finish. Thin-bodied and watery. Fairly refreshing. mkgrenwel (619) - North Shore, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 24, 2005
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2005 apricot comes all the way through. Dry. Apricot really sits on the tongue. Tiny touch of bitterness in the back. Most of the flavor comes from apricot. Nice while in the mouth, but very short finish. Flavor dissappears once you swallow. Where does it go? I don’t know. Lots of points taken away for this. Otherwise would be a higher scoring beer.

Tap at Bidwell’s in Coventry, CT. First off, this has always been my good luck beer for UConn basketball. First had this during the BET in 99, and proceeded to have another one for every game the rest of the year. Take that, Duke! Anyway, this was a little reminiscent of SA Cherry Wheat, except apricot instead of cherry, and not nearly as nauseatingly sweet as the SA. It has a sweet and dry mouthfeel as the apricot and wheat take over the palatte. It’s slightly dry to finish. All in all, it’s a good beer to have during the big game. Go Huskies!

Beer #25 for me at the WBF. Another really unique beer at the festival. Lots of apricot. Pretty exciting. The barley was definitely pushing through a bit too. Overall a very sweet beer, but tastey. Something different. slang (654) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - OCT 17, 2005
UPDATED: DEC 28, 2006 ~~Org. Ar.6 Ap.3 Fl. 6 Pa. 3 O.I.14 = T.S. 3.2. ~~ had this on tap at some Fox Sport bar in an airport in PA. The only thing move vauge than that is prob. my rating. As I was already feeling swell, I ordered based on Tap designs.... the cool 9 did it. Anyway, I didn’t get much fruit out of it. Seemed rather an average ale, with little malts and an easy hop linger... too easy. I thought it was an American Strong Ale? or something like that.... but whatever, it was only ok. -
---- Now looking back... very average... no fruit. Nasty cheap pale. Not too impressed. Lowered Score to present 2.6... damn. 12/ 28/ 06. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 13, 2005

Draught. Clear copper color with thin off-white head. Apricot and caramel aroma. Apricot flavor well balanced with the malt. Dry rather than sweet. Very good.
