3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: APR 22, 2004 My cap: "Don't Throw Stones at Others' Bones." Cloudy golden/orange color with a white thin that quickly becomes nonexistant. Strong, fruity aroma of apricot (and peach?). Clean feel with decent carbonation. Beyond that, this is kind of disappointing... Apricot taste goes away quickly and leaves a mild pee aftertaste with very little hops. I like this stuff with nacho cheese Doritos; I am sure I'm in the minority on that one. :) I would rather take some fruit juices and add some vodka than pay for this regularly.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy golden amber with an average white head. Sweet, fruity aroma with the apricot really coming to the forefront. Light hops underneath have a rather marginal presence in the aroma. Average body with decent carbonation and a pretty good mouthfeel. The flavor has a nice balance of sweet fruit and bitter hops. Not the most outstanding beer ever, but not too bad either. Drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly cloudy amber with a decent white head. Aroma is all fruit, almost artifical like. Taste is not nearly as sweet as aroma. Turns out much better than average.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours something of a muddy, light amber with a giant head that dissipates to a thin fuzz, but lasting. Aromas of apricots, dirt candy, honey or vanilla. Flavors are unique indeed: apricot jam on lightly toasted white bread, sweet hay-ish hoppiness. The palate is the most unique or odd part. Sort of fluffy at first, creamy but very dry, eventually a tad cloying AND mineral...huh. Nice bitterness and yummy cascades from middle to back. The beer leaves the palate feeling moist, despite the dryness. An interesting beer, to say the least; not one I'll rush back to or shy away from.

Draught, at Tabla, Madison Square, Manhattan.
Rich golden colour with a smooth fine creamy beige head. Lovely drink with my good buddy Funk. Crisp, refreshing, fruity flavour is smooth and inviting. Apricot and vanilla in equal measures. Could have easily drunk several more of these. Palate is silky and smooth.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweetish fruity beer with definite, but not overpowering, notes of apricot. I've always liked this beer a lot. Medium copper color with a medium white head that leaves some thin lace. Very drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sweet peach/apricot nose with a copper body and tasty light apricot hops flavor. I like this beer because the fruit flavor isn't overwhelming like many fruity beers.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tremendously fruity aroma - raspberry then citrus then perhaps other berries??? - coming out of a light golden beer with a quickly dissipating white head. Mild hops and more fruit hit the tongue but nothing remarkable to follow the fruity aromas. Slight aftertaste is a little subdued and earthy. OK.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Gold to light copper in color with a faint aroma. A pale ale? Well, a bit fruity and light, easy to drink, but not memorable. This is more of a summer ale.

This wasn't what I thought it was going to be. Fruity with a crisp finish. If I wanted alcohol in my fruit juice I'd make a mixed drink...
