drinkbeer (283) - Redondo Beach, California, USA - AUG 28, 2003
Initial impression after first sip was that this beer was similar in malt character to a newcastle brown ale. I got that slightly roasted, smokey malt flavor. But ooh wait! after a few more sips I tasted a definite apricot flavor that coated my palate with a sugary fruit flavor. It wasn't overpowering though...just a hint of nectar. Thanks for sharing Meg! quantum24 (32) - New York, USA - AUG 25, 2003
Pale orange with a slight haze, nice white head. mild apricot aroma, slightly malty and acidic, fruity (apricot), with a mild bitter finish. typical magic hat, not great, but drinkable. (good beer when hosting a party many "beer drinkers" like it) egajdzis (6499) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2003
Cloudy amber color with a small head and a slight apricot aroma. Taste was that of hops and dominated by apricots. A decent beer! duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2003
Definite apricot aroma. Oaty, lightly sweet maltyness, slightly grainy. Mild apricot flavour, with a refreshing crisp-ish finish, low bitterness. It was definitely not as sweet as i expected, easy to drink, easy to enjoy. (Bottle-GBBF 03') WISEGUY572 (1377) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 21, 2003
Cloudy beer with a good amber to orange color; cloudiness suggests presence of at least some wheat despite the absence of strong bread, spice, or citric fruit. I liked its hint of apricot or some sweet fruit, and I liked the combination of hops. Still, not terribly exciting. Could have been more hopped.

I've had this beer before, in any number of other rather fresh fruity beers, with a touch of indistinct lagerish ale underneath, with a wheaty tanginess. This one is better made then most and warms great (quality ingredients, nice hop spice), but is a bit of a yawner nonetheless. JorisPPattyn (9927) - Ursel, BELGIUM - AUG 11, 2003
Pale gold, thick white head. Hops and lunaria aromas's, as well as something perilously close to artificial sweetener. Taste yields apricot, bread-yeast - and that's it. How magic. Mouthfeel is like sparkling water: refreshing but empty. Oh well, well-tried. Not succeeded. rauchbier (3880) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2003
UPDATED: AUG 16, 2003 Bottled. GBBF2003. Good bright golden colour, modeate thin white head and moderate condition. Dominant apricot aroma, sweet and banana wheaty in the mouth with the apricot more hidden. Quite oily in the mouth and finish with the apricot lingering

Poured a mundane golden color with almost no head to it. Had a pleasent hoppy aroma with a hint of apricot. Tasted like a watered down version of a lackluster pale ale. It finished dry. Im suprised this beer was listed as a fruit beer. Ungstrup (37216) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2003
The aroma is fresh, malty and hoppy - a little artificial. It is amber and has a fine head. The flavor is like the aroma combined with a strong note of peach.
