Apricot flavouring
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

Pours a nice amber orange with medium white head, lots of lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, decent malt, and some fruity tartness. Flavor matches well, but just doesn’t come together for me. This is not what I look for when infusing fruit into a beer. Drinkable, but just can’t get past it all.

Can, brought back from Florida. Pours a hazy golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is a bit weird, some red fruits, bready malts and yeast and a very mild touch of citrus in the back. Flavor is about the same, medium fruity sweet, dry citrussy middle and malty finish. Sparkling and crisp mouthfeel due to fairly high carbonation. Aftertaste is mild bittersweet. Meh, ok.

As far as pale ale’s go I liked it. Has good malty flavor not overly hoppy and bitter has nice pour good head and lacing, would recommend.

From a can. A thin bodied beer with coarse carbonation, pretty standard but drinkable.

Better than I remember. Malty and spicy aroma. Light amber in color with a good head. Medium body and carbonation. Flavors are mild malty, some English character with graininess. Decent.

Flaska.

12oz bottle. Clear golden pour, initial white bubbly head which dissipates to nothing fairly quickly. Malty nose, some muted fruit (maybe apricot?) Curious graininess almost like some rye notes. Closer to a bitter or a lager..
