UPDATED: APR 22, 2006 12oz bottle sampled from the "Joe’s Garage" 12 pack. Pours to a jet black color, with a tan head that fades, and a moderate carbonation. The nose on this beer is excellent, with lots of good aroma of dark malt, dark chocolate, estery fruit, mild roast, and piney hops. The palate is firm, with good dark malt flavor, dark chocolate, flavors of coffee, and roast. This beer finishes with more good coffee and roast up front, then ends with some really good piney hop bitterness that linges. Very tasty, very well done robust porter. A great beer to pair with hearty dishes, or rich and creamy deserts. JahNoth (1039) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAR 2, 2006
UPDATED: MAR 9, 2006 Fruity sweetness in the nose mixes with pine and slight roasted chocolate. Deep chestnut in color. Nice and fluffy light tan head. Loads of flavor in this one - chocolate covered cherries, an abundance of piney hops and medium quantities of roasted malts. This is not a porter that would be confused with a stout, Its more of an entire butt type of thing. I really like it. AustinMilbarge (681) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 24, 2006

Traditional dark brown porter with a light tan head. Unusual aroma for the porter as it is dry-hopped.
Purchased by the 12 pack from the Brewery. MonsterMash (58) - North Tonowanda, New York, USA - APR 7, 2006
Came in the Magic Hat mix pack as the "mystery" brew. A good, dark pour with a little but very thick head. More hoppy than most porters which worked in its favor. Probably my favorite from the mix. egajdzis (6502) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 18, 2006
Poured a dark brown color with a small, tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of mocha, chocolate, roast, and light vanilla bean. Taste of rich chocolately malt, light vanilla, and a dry roastiness. I hope it tastes this decent, if they decide to bottle it. weeare138 (936) - Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 19, 2006
Much thanks to fatty for the growler...
Appears black with a small tan head. Spotty lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is of caramel, chocolate, black patent malt, and sweet fruit.
Taste is equal to the aromas.
Mouthfeel is dry and slightly sweet.
Not a bad brew from our friends in South Burlington! fatty (363) - Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 24, 2006
Sampled at Magic Hat (a couple times). Dark, murky brown with medium tan head. Aroma and flavor of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee. A little thin, but a nice beer from Magic Hat.
