2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours cloudy , small head , a little lacing. Slight aroma of orange with some biscuity bread notes. Taste is orange upfront with a subtle peppery finish. Mouthfeel is light
Low in alcohol content, and really bad in flavor. This was the worst of the variety pack for sure. Pithikos (14) - Utah, USA - NOV 23, 2017

Is he a who? Or a what? Or perhaps some of both? Be amazed by the flavorful haze of this wonderful wheat beer.Editor’s note: Yes, the bottle calls it a hefeweizen. The beer, however, is brewed with a (fairly hefty) portion of lemongrass, which contributes a significant aroma and flavor. Thus we have deemed it a Spice/herb/vegetable and not a German Hefeweizen, which should be free from adjuncts (other than hops

Pours clear light gold with with virtually no head. Aroma is estery wheat. Flavor is estery with some artificial character. piraat83 (25) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - OCT 8, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 8, 2017 Pours a hazy light yellow with a thin white head. Light citrusy and just a little tart. Not as flavorful a Zirkus boy. This is more of a Blue Moon style White, while not necessarily a bad thing, Zirkus boy definitely wins this comparison. superspak (6096) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - SEP 11, 2017
12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 2/3/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy pale golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, biscuit, white bread dough, herbal, and grass; with lighter notes of banana, bubblegum, pepper, clove, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and solid complexity of fruity/light spicy yeast, lemongrass, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, biscuit, white bread dough, herbal, and grass; with lighter notes of banana, bubblegum, pepper, clove, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness, yeast spiciness, and wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, biscuit, white bread dough, herbal, grass, light banana/pepper/clove, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness, balance, and solid complexity of fruity/light spicy yeast, lemongrass, and pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Clean finishing. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly crisp, and slightly sticky/tangy mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a nice American wheat/Hefeweizen hybrid style. All around nice robustness, balance, and solid complexity of fruity/light spicy yeast, lemongrass, and pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy finish. Feels like a mix of American/German wheat yeasts, which have nice fruity character presence and solid complexity. Not overdone on the Lemongrass spice, and nice malt presence/balance for the low ABV. A nicely enjoyable offering, and pretty unique brew.

Bottle back in the day. Hazy golden yellow with smaller head. Notes of heavy belgian spice, clove, banana, yeast, and fake fruit. Light bodied with a forgettable finish. 60minuteman (1765) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 15, 2017
Wheat, lemon, spice, zest, peel. Resin and malt with lots of spice. It has a miller vibe to it... geologyguy (1674) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - JUL 4, 2017
Smells like a hefeweizen, taste is smooth and light lemon zest...light bitterness...finishes lightly sweet...some complexity but mostly lemongrass flavor...fourth of July 2017 at home with Megan rdixon77 (3066) - Georgia, USA - JUL 4, 2017
Pretty standard hefe. Lots of lemon taste in an otherwise thin hefe style beer. Just fine. 05barnold (52) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 30, 2017
Poured from a bottle. Frothy white head. Pale yellow in color. Taste is what I would expect from a hefe. Not amazing but pretty damn good. Would purchase it again.
