Well, I felt pretty good about my super-discerning palate when I concluded that this wasn’t a hefeweizen. And then I logged on here and realized that many other people arrived at the same conclusion. I was right, anyway. So, the beer. Considering it as NOT a hefeweizen, it’s pretty good. The initial surprise I felt after tasting it gradually subsided as I realized that I was tasting something different. It would be like biting into an apple and tasting banana. i love bananas (and apples, incidentally), but if I were expecting to taste apple it would be weird. The beer is worth a taste, so go for it. fiulijn (20992) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 14, 2009

Hazy blond color. Served too cold; it has light aroma and light flavor; very light wheat character, instead there is a spicy side, peppery, and light lemon. Simple.
(Stockholm Beer Festival 2006) Hazy orange, white head. Very hoppy and grassy aroma. Hoppy flavor, a bit thin.
