3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. The pour was a hazy pale yellow with a large white frothy head that dissipated quickly down to a thick film with a medium collar and had some fair spotty lacing.
The aroma was pretty basic for a Hefeweizen, with a mild grain malt and a soapy yeast and having notes of citrus (lemon), banana and a bit of coriander.
The taste was light and mildly sweet with a slight banana wheat presence early on, then became rather yeasty with a hint of lemon, a moderate dose of spice and a slight bitter citrus peel finish. The flavor was very short lived with the slight spicy yeast taste fading quickly after the swallow.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a unusually mild carbonation.
Overall a pretty basic Hefeweizen with a nice taste, a refreshing feel and a great drinkability. This is a brew that is light in alcohol and refreshing in taste, making it a great addition to any summer outing...
Wheat, lemon, spice, zest, peel. Resin and malt with lots of spice. It has a miller vibe to it... geologyguy (1602) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - JUL 4, 2017
Smells like a hefeweizen, taste is smooth and light lemon zest...light bitterness...finishes lightly sweet...some complexity but mostly lemongrass flavor...fourth of July 2017 at home with Megan rdixon77 (2832) - Georgia, USA - JUL 4, 2017
Pretty standard hefe. Lots of lemon taste in an otherwise thin hefe style beer. Just fine. 05barnold (14) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 30, 2017
Poured from a bottle. Frothy white head. Pale yellow in color. Taste is what I would expect from a hefe. Not amazing but pretty damn good. Would purchase it again.

On tap. Golden in color with an average sized creamy white head. Faint aroma of citrus and spices. Mostly sweet with some banana notes. Light bodied. Not bad.

Pours clear golden with a small white head that dissipates quickly, light lacing. Aroma of banana, cloves and wheat. Flavor of lemon, wheat, bitter and dish towel
Bottle. It pours a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is sweet and lemony with strong lemongrass notes. The flavor has some decent wheat malt and more intense lemongrass. Pretty sweet and simple. Only light hints of hefeweizen yeast. Kinda boring but refreshing by the poolside. nittanytide (286) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 2, 2016
Poured pale gold with a bubbly head that quickly disappeared. Faint orange aroma. Taste is oranges and orange zest. Didn’t have the crisp-wheaty-citrusness that I expected from the style. Decent, but there are better hefes out there. Larry_Duffman (536) - - JUN 29, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2016 I poured it from the bottle into a glass. The aroma is banana, spice, and wheat. The taste is banana, spice, and wheat. While cold, it’s fairly crisp and refreshing. There is nice carbonation. It?s not a great interpretation of the style though.
