Demo is a deliciously dark lick of an India Pale Ale. It’s medley of roasted malts and heady hops will have your senses dancing to the beat of a different IPA.

Pours dark with low off white head Aromas of dark fruits, some caramel and roasted maltyness Taste of coffee, roasted barley, sweetness from hops. Low bodied, low bitterness, somewhat watery.

Svart med brunt ganska stort skum som lägger sig snabbt. Doftar choklad, kaffe, hö och banankaka. Smaken är tyvärr inte lika bra som doften, för tunn. Kaffe, mineraler, metal, choklad och övermogen frukt.

Pours dark brown with a small, light tan head. Aroma is dominated by roasted malt and smoke. I can’t really pick out any hoppy smells. Taste is somewhat weak, at first light caramel malt sweetness but actually feels watery. Towards the finish, the bitterness starts picking up but it’s more like a lager bitter than an IPA bitter. Body is light, with fairly strong carbonation. I’m wondering if something’s wrong with my bottle because I don’t really know why anyone would willingly brew an IPA to be like this...

TEJA (3027) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 14, 2012
Bottle from Systembolaget, Sweden. Dark / brown short head. Almost totally black color, one of the darkest beers I’ve had. Big aroma of both dark chrystal malts and dark roasted malts. Much dark roasted malt taste that isn’t balanced with any body in the beer and makes it one sided.

Not a terrible black ipa, but still not great. Roasty malt character with a slightly watered down taste. Magic Hat continues to be a step above mainstream Sam Adams, bur nor much else. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled from Systembolaget Black with a large, beige head. Roasted aroma with notes of acetone. Strange, roasted flavour; brown sugar, licorice. Very dry bitterness.

Bottle. Dark brown to almost black, the dark beige head dissolves quickly. Aroma: not very heavy roast, light milk chocolate, a light hoppiness. Taste: roasted and light sour, light salty licorice, the fruitiness is low but there is some grapefruit and blood orange here, also hard lemon candies. Medium-bodied. The taste is a bit faded, I miss a fresh fruitiness here.

Bottle: Thanx to Mr.Rask: Deep red/brown colour, with a brown head. aroma had vanilla, coffee, dark choclate, liqury, brown sugar, and a bit smokey in the end. Flavor was smokey, vanilla mouth feeling, burned popcorn, tar, Medium body, and a long smokey finish.
