COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dream Machine, an India Pale Lager or IPL, is a melding of varied visions of an India Pale Ale and an Amber Lager. Once poured, its light copper color delights the eyes and a citrusy hop aroma flows through the nose. Upon first sip, a smooth hop bitterness reveals itself - fresh, bold and slightly spicy - before subtle hints of mild maltiness appear. A big hop bite and a crisp, clean lager finish combine for a beautifully balanced beer. Take Dream Machine for a spin and let your reverie begin.

Bottle. Amber in colour, with a decent, white, head and slight carbonation. Big, citrus, hop aroma with a sweet edge. Hop dominated in the mouth too, leading to a moderately bitter finish. This beer could have done with some more, balancing, malt character, but was pretty good overall.

Nice aftertaste. Not too heavy, like an IPA. Enjoyable drinking beer...............................

Serving: Bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a slightly hazy amber color. A little caramel in the nose, but not much else. A hint of diacetyl on the tongue with a little caramel malt and just about zero hop presence other than a meek bitterness. Not very rewarding.

A little one-sided but showing off a nice and clean appearance with a pleasant bitterness working its way all the way through. Good malty body.

Maybe my palette is off because I started with a gose. I’m not loving this. It’s got a bit of a metallic taste.

Aholmb1 (134) - New Orleans, Louisiana, USA - OCT 5, 2014
Appearance: dark opaque amber color with tan head - nice head when poured that is dense and stays in tact Aroma: faint hoppiness smell, amber keynotes, citrus grapefruit Taste: amber mixed with ipa, hoppiness at end and amber taste at beginning, earthy grassy Palette: bitter at the end, lots of bitterness, light to medium body, feels spice on tongue Overall: this is an interesting mix for a beer and is surprisingly good

From a bottle poured a copper color with a fair amount of head. Light hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

Purchased at the Westwood Krogers in Cincinnati, Ohio, as part of the 2014 Magic Hat Summer Scene seasonal twelve pack - Alright, this copper hued brew flowed out with a hoppy aroma and decent lacing, with a very pleasant, balanced taste that reminds me of Moerlein’s OTR.

One of the better magic hats I've had. Not great but good. Poured from draft at Shortys in NY. Bitter Carmel and malty aroma. Taste is the same. Pretty hoppy. I changed my mind. Very average.

Bottle - Pours a deep golden with a average white head. Nice aromas of citrus. Good mouth feel. Tastes like a IPL, malty with hoppy citrus notes and a dry finish. Enjoyable.
