2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle, Kroger, Delaware. Pale golden; diminutive fizzy white head dissipates into nothing; basically no lacing. Aroma largely biscuit, with notes of wheat beer yeast and tart berry. Flavor is really mild with some unidentifiable berry flavor that sort of resembles blueberry; hardly any bitterness to speak of. Thin body. Really unimpressive, even for Magic Hat.
Hazy to cloudy golden color with a smaller, but stable nearly white head. Light fruity aroma, akin to a blueberry pop tart. Sweet flavors, with light berries, including gooseberries and blackberries. A fruity style beer that does not keep my interest. 5/12

Kroger bottle. Clear gold. Aroma of grass, hint of honey, hint of bitter fruit. Flavor is grass, bitter berry, honey, bread. Boring. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 14, 2016
Pours a hazy dark golden yellow color. Aromas of malts, a touch of honey. Flavor is the same as the nose, nice malt taste with honey like sweetness. Smooth hop finish, medium body with a quick aftertaste. Sirmixsomewhat (266) - Paoli, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 10, 2015
Elder Betty is my favorite fruit beer I’ve ever had. It’s not like other fruit beers, where you think you’re just drinking cider; there’s enough of an aftertaste that reminds you that it’s beer to know it isn’t cider, and it’s not overpowering with one fruit. I love it. hman43 (1586) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - SEP 6, 2015
It is hazy light amber in color. The head is almost non existent after the initial pour. It has aromas of bread, cinnamon, and wheat. The flavors of bread, berry, and sweet brown sugar with a dash of cinnamon dominate the flavor palate. It’s listed as a wheat ale, but it doesn’t resemble any wheat ale that I’ve had. If your looking for a unique taste, this one has it. If you are looking for a true wheat ale, this isn’t it.

Put us to bed. This beer is going to bring it. It has a fruit taste and darker malty taste. mstrcrwly (1000) - New York, USA - APR 4, 2015

Hazy golden color , medium-size white head. Wheat malt and berry in aroma. Light taste of malt with yeast and some berries ( grape?) . Easy-drinkable refreshing beer. Brandon1989 (660) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - JAN 25, 2015
Pours a hazy golden color with a small head that dissipated quickly. The aroma is grapes and berrys. In the flavor, I pick up grapes more so than the berry and some wheat. Not a huge fan of this beer. jeffbigD (134) - - DEC 21, 2014
Initial taste is a nice blend of wheat and hops. Nice fruit under tones that complement well.
