COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden haze for a summers daze. Elder Betty is a weiss-style ale with a bready malt flavor balanced by a touch of hops and complimented by the tart berry flavors of elderberry.

A very mild Weiss that would be marginally acceptable if not for an overwhelming taste I can only describe as very overripe oversweet blueberries crossed with polgranette. Just barely drinkable enough that I will drink the other two in the mix pack. But what makes it mildly acceptable is that it is a light enough taste that you barely notice that its bad- you know, like with Bud Light, but involving fruit. A few more fruit beers like this and I might have to adopt Triple H?s "Man Law" from the old Miller Lite commercials- no beer with fruit (I?ll admit to liking some beers with *a little bit* of orange, lemon, or lime, and, oddly, cranberry lambics). Between this stuff and shandies, ugh. Summer seasonals have mostly jumped the shark. Time for a reboot. Someone try something radically different for beer next summer please.

Pours a hazy dark golden yellow color. Aromas of malts, a touch of honey. Flavor is the same as the nose, nice malt taste with honey like sweetness. Smooth hop finish, medium body with a quick aftertaste.

Elder Betty is my favorite fruit beer Ive ever had. Its not like other fruit beers, where you think youre just drinking cider; theres enough of an aftertaste that reminds you that its beer to know it isnt cider, and its not overpowering with one fruit. I love it.

It is hazy light amber in color. The head is almost non existent after the initial pour. It has aromas of bread, cinnamon, and wheat. The flavors of bread, berry, and sweet brown sugar with a dash of cinnamon dominate the flavor palate. Its listed as a wheat ale, but it doesnt resemble any wheat ale that Ive had. If your looking for a unique taste, this one has it. If you are looking for a true wheat ale, this isnt it.

Put us to bed. This beer is going to bring it. It has a fruit taste and darker malty taste.

Hazy golden color , medium-size white head. Wheat malt and berry in aroma. Light taste of malt with yeast and some berries ( grape?) . Easy-drinkable refreshing beer.

Pours a hazy golden color with a small head that dissipated quickly. The aroma is grapes and berrys. In the flavor, I pick up grapes more so than the berry and some wheat. Not a huge fan of this beer.

Initial taste is a nice blend of wheat and hops. Nice fruit under tones that complement well.

355ml bottle. Primarily tastes of wheat ale, but there is a fruity sweetness and sourness that comes through. Not cloying, but also not all that distinct. Didnt know what an elderberry tasted like when I started and I still really dont now. Would be a reasonably refreshing generic berry summer beer.

Very fruity. Good taste for the beer itself and the berries come out. Could easily take this to a party and pLease many people.
