poured from bottle out of ""night of the living dead variety pack". yellow hazy color with thin white head. Aroma is light hops with dry lemon taste. Not the big Hop bite I was looking for. Not bad, just so so. Love a lot of other Magic Hat stuff. zacgillbanks (5180) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - AUG 14, 2013
Bottle from Publix Supermarket, Kissimmee, Florida. This is a hazy pale yellow beer with sweet topical fruit flavours, sharp citrus notes and a grapefruit finish. Excellent! thebrymanosu (39) - - AUG 13, 2013
Big fresh hop flavor and aroma. Piney, slight floral character. Poor is light gold, very clear. Thin, quickly dissipating head. basic malt. Not a lot of specialty grain in this beer. Overall good beer. I am drinking this pretty fresh for a VT beer shipped to TX. Best beer out of the fall variety pack. Ironicmedic (77) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Tasted from bottle, from variety pack. 8/10/13. A nice ipa with a medium hop finish. Piney smell to it. novice101 (308) - - AUG 8, 2013
Drank out of the bottle from the night of the living dead 12 pack. Smells of bitter and citrusy hops, the smell is very large. It taste fairly bitter with little no balance with malts, citrus and a bit of lemon also. Finish is very dry and overall not a very enjoyable IPA for me, not enough balance

October 2011. From a mixed case of Magic Hat brews. Poured amber color. Caramel, pine and hoppy aromas. Flavors add citrus and more caramel. Not bad, but nothing special either. AWISLguy (3109) - Wisconsin, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Bottle from BrookFalls Discount. Pours a pale golden with a white head. Aroma has floral hops and fruit. Taste is of fresh fruit - strange flavored ones (mango? passionfruit? pineapple?) - and some citrus and some toffee. Light to medium bodied. Slightly sticky and fairly balanced between the fruitiness and the malt side. Not very IPA-ish -- more an APA, IMO. Definitely based off of Magic Hat 9, as the similarities exist. Pours a light copper color with a fruity aroma and light spice. Taste is a bit thin but overall tasty. A slight bready and malt flavor with a toasty palate. Not a typical IPA, little to no bitterness throughout. a thirst quenching beer. stantheman (1050) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 27, 2013
Small bottle at Hops in New Westminster. A very pale golden amber color with low carbonation. Bitter grapefruit bite on the nose and tongue. A bit of malt lurking in the background. Bitter finish. Nice.

This’d be a killer summer beer! Sometimes life bites, but in a good way, as in "good beer has bite".
Pours a hazy gold with a frothy white head and good lacing throughout. Aroma is somewhat yeasty with stone fruit and sweet grain. Medium bodied. Fruity body, again a little yeasty with a bitter grapefruit finish. Good.
