3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured at the Pound Ridge Harvest Festival. Aroma is clearly an IPA with Columbus Hops and a 70 IBU so you would think it was bitter and it is but in a great way that I consider the exact opposite of the finish on the Sierra Nevada Torpedo. Its not as complex as many of the other magic hat beers yet its an exceptionally drinkable IPA. Aroma is exceptionally strong for an IPA. Pour is Orange to Amber with a thick head that dissipates slowly. Immensely drinkable another Magic Hat winner!
12oz can. Clear, golden with a foamy white head. Aroma is a hood mix of hop and malt, flavour is mostly hop, grapefruit, citrus. Very dry finish 60minuteman (1714) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 5, 2016
Bottle from variety pack w chump. The label should say it’s like you’re sailing onward toward the DUSK of the mind. I feel the dawn to be more saison-y. BuckeyeBoy (7663) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 29, 2016
On tap at magic hat brewing. Pours out a crisp clear pale golden topped with a white head. Nose is light hops pine and some citrus. Taste more of the light hope notes and some cereal. Pretty lacking in my opinion. Seannpc (159) - - JUN 25, 2016
Malty aroma. Lighter yellow color and medium thickness. Bitter start and stale bitter finish

Poured from a bottle. Pours a cloudy bright amber with a medium foamy white head. Light carbonation and plenty of lacing. Semi-sweet fruity aroma with notes of light spices and biscuit. Taste is fairly bitter citrus rind with a somewhat dry finish. Not very refreshing. Not as good as I expected.

Bottle from IPA pack purchased at brewery. This is my least favorite from the pack, but it's still an excellent IPA. I find this one a little too bitter.

Bien correct. Ed5388 (3478) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - OCT 12, 2015
12oz bottle that I found rotting in the back of my fridge. Courtesy of dmac I believe. Pours a crystal clear light golden orange with 2 fingers of frothy white head. Aroma of old grains and rotting citrus, with some weird yeast notes in the finish. Taste of bad lemons, citrus skins, caramel malt, yeast, and honey. Some medicinal notes as well. bottled - pale golden color. Decent head. Refreshing, not super hoppy. Not much aroma. Cool label.
