Golden brown, with a decent amount of carbination. Hops, as you’d expect, are at the forefront. This gives way to a nice, even finish. Very well balanced, with a light body, and a blend of pine/cedar and undertones of apriocot. Very nice. wickedpete (634) - Lexington Park, Maryland, USA - JUN 2, 2006
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2007 I love this IPA. Terrific aroma and a great hop flavor balanced with creamy malt. A nice dry finish. Too bad this is only available part of the year. noelcb (271) - Toledo, Ohio, USA - MAY 20, 2007
Hazy brown. Medium head, quickly shrinks to a skim with impressive, lomg-lasting lace. Smell of grapefruit, herbs (hops), grass and, barely, malt. Flavor is big hops -- astringent grapefruit and herbs. The malt’s there, not that you taste it, rather that you don’t notice any lack of body. Good palette. I’m a bit of a hop-head at times, I like this really cold. aimtofail (6) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 30, 2008 does not count

I can remember a time when I didn’t like IPAs. Oh, that was many moons ago! I’ve finally come around. This brew is damn tasty. Definitely worth a try. Deep orange hue with a nice head. Good taste, nice alcohol content - what more could you want? Plus, the artwork is pretty trippy...man. It is fun to admire and those who see you holding it are likely to remark, "Whoa, cool artwork on that one!"

The beer is poured to medium amber in color, with hints of gold along the sides of the glass. A half inch high head forms on top, which is cream in color. There is a slight scent of cracked grain at the start. Then the strong aroma of citrus strikes the nose. That is followed by grass and pine fragrances at the end. The surprising flavor of bread is at the front of each taste, followed by a yeasty twang. It then blends itself to strong grapefruit bitterness, then ending with an earthy flavor. The feel is medium bodied, most of the way through. There is the slight feel of oiliness halfway, but does not deter the strong dry finish. This is beer is a hop heads go to beer, strong aroma, along with the big hoppy flavor; make this a beer for any occasion.

Great IPA and that surprised me. Magic Hat is usually ho-hum, but this beer deserves its due. Floral/fruit notes in both the nose and taste. Hops are balanced well with malts, no bitter aftertaste. Yellow/gold in color with white and that has lacing effect. ads135 (4587) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 29, 2012
I’m a fan of this one. Pours hazy yellow with a decent head, a floral nose an a medium body. Tastes primarily of citrus and resin. Has a nice balance, not overwhelmingly hoppy. thebrymanosu (39) - - AUG 13, 2013
Big fresh hop flavor and aroma. Piney, slight floral character. Poor is light gold, very clear. Thin, quickly dissipating head. basic malt. Not a lot of specialty grain in this beer. Overall good beer. I am drinking this pretty fresh for a VT beer shipped to TX. Best beer out of the fall variety pack. zacgillbanks (5128) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - AUG 14, 2013
Bottle from Publix Supermarket, Kissimmee, Florida. This is a hazy pale yellow beer with sweet topical fruit flavours, sharp citrus notes and a grapefruit finish. Excellent!
