Bottle poured a golden in color with a covering of white head. Aroma has wheat, grains, and mild hops. Mouth feel is light and the carbonation steady. Flavor has wheat, light bitterness, dull hops, and a bit of dampness. beerme31 (685) - Holly Springs, North Carolina, USA - OCT 30, 2012
Bottle. Very mild aroma, honey and citrus, hint of lemon. Taste is sweet. Uneventful finish, light body, thin texture. Not a whole lot going on with this one, easy-drinking wheat. keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - OCT 29, 2012

A: This is actually very interesting, most of Magic Hat’s beers I’ve had have been cloudy, when they shouldn’t, but this wheat ale is actually pretty damn clear, actually it’s crystal clear. There’s a thin white head with mediocre retention at best.
S: The aroma leans sweet here with some honey aromas and citrus that’s lightly tart.
T: Hocus Pocus is pretty standard here, dry wheat ale with mildly tart citrus. Nothing more to see here.
T: Light with medium lightly sharp carbonation.
O: This is what it is, nothing more nothing less, carry on.
12 oz. bottle from mix 12 pack. Pours a slightly hazy gold. Nose is lots of wheat and grain. As it gets real warm I noticed a lot of honey aroma’s as well. The flavor is identical to the nose. I feel this is rated really harshly. It’s a bit better than some ratings imply. Yes, it is simple and light bodied, yet really refreshing with decent flavor. This bottle was still in code, so still fresh. I have NO problem finishing the other bottles. radioseer (299) - Virginia, USA - OCT 17, 2012
Not much in the aroma. Tastes hoppy for a wheat beer which is nice but overall this beer is bland.

12 oz Bottle. The pour was a clear light golden yellow with a large (2-3 finger) white cottony head that lasted a good while, eventually reducing to a medium film with fair spotty lacing.
The aroma was of a light straw malt and a moldy cobweb yeast with notes of citrus (lemon) and wheat.
Taste was mild and lightly sweet with a hint of citrus from the get go, with a nice crisp wheat flavor and a slight citrus peel bitterness towards the finish. The flavor stuck around for a decent duration with a crisp citrus taste left lying on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with an almost fizzy carbonation.
Overall a Wheat Ale with a light bitterness and a good crisp refreshing taste. Great beer for a hot summer’s day...

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear light yellowish golden with a bubbly white head and lacing, aroma is sweet with a hint of grain and lemon, the flavor is light and zesty, some lemon and grass in the finish, really boring, ugh, waste of $13 on this mix pack. rondphoto (4431) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Pale gold with a good white head, smears of lace, and plenty of carbonation bubbles rising through the liquid. The taste starts with wheat and grass that is bypassed by a sour citrus and pine hop finish. Reasonable, light, but not satisfying enough to use on that "lazy fly ball" summer day in Magic Hat’s description. czar (9057) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 24, 2012
on tap at reservoir, waterbury. almost clear pale yellow without a head. very faint wheat and malts, some yeastiness, light herbal notes with a short but present citrusy finish. almost aggressive carbonation, light body. wlajwl (6801) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - SEP 20, 2012
Aroma is lemons/ctirus, yeast and wheat. The flavor is light citrus, wheat malt a mix of mild sweetness and tartness in the finish.
