This beer rocks.
It’s a little on the thin side. It’s not hopped way up. It’s not very malty. It’s just a really good, light summer brew with a touch of honey in the otherwise crisp finish. Quite possibly the USA’s best lawnmower beer... with the exception of DogFish Head’s Lawnmower Light. HighGravity (926) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 22, 2002
Bland! This beer is devoid of flavor. SirHopsAlot (44) - Cockeysville, Maryland, USA - JUN 22, 2002
Not a very exciting beer. If it is supposed to be a wheat beer, it is not very true to style. Being that it is filtered takes alot away from the beer. There is a bit of bitterness on the palate and not much on the nose. Not a very well structured beer. VENOM (941) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 18, 2002
Good wheat brew. Crisp mouthfeel with a nice tart twang and grainy malt balance. The typical ’english’ yeast fruitiness appears as well to make for a nice overall flavor. Overpriced though at $7.50/six.

Bit wheaty aroma, some hops, and hint of sour cherry. Pale golden honey color with small white head. Light carb but burns the tongue. Light body. Tastes of wheat, but more hoppy and acidic. Slightly too bitter with an off-finish. GregL40 (97) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 9, 2002
Boring. Bland looking. Absent of the flavor that I have come to expect from a wheat beer. That’s what you get when you send a girl on a beer run (but you’re still cool pam). michaelm18 (118) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 7, 2002
Has a wheaty, citrus flavor, quite good actually. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2002
Strong wheat flavor. Steak (124) - New York, USA - MAY 10, 2002
This was a wheat? It’s supposed to be unfiltered, but it tasted as if it was filtered like 8 times. The aroma was decent, but it was thin, and hinted to the overall thinness of this beer. The wheat characteristic were extremely subdued. There was no magic is this brew.
