COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on the classic summer wheat beer...it’s a light, crisp ale for mowing lawns, hitting lazy fly balls and communing with nature. Glowing like brilliant rays of golden sun, its malty sweetness finishes tart and crisp. Hocus Pocus is best appreciated with a wedge of orange. Offered as a sacrifice to cloudless days.

Beautiful dark hazy golden beer. Medium head. Crisp, with a well balanced orange flavor. Very good wheat beer.

DATE: May 17, 2017... OCCASION: inspired by the school band’s spring performance and the early spring heat, time to add some wheat to the evening of Celts/Cavs Game 1... pours an active, bubbling golden body with a thick white head that clumps and clusters resiliently... lacing is appreciable... honey, wheat yeast, hints of lemon, and buttery biscuit malts that tug at the senses in its variety--earthy, slightly too malty... oily, light-bodied and easily drinkable... maybe it’d be better on a lawnmower, as suggested... lemon, hay, some biscuit, a hint of the honey, lime (?) and apple make for a fruity, malty flavor profile... fitting for the evening heat, but not the kind of beer I’d reach for when quenching a thirst... many other weisses, wheat, weizens and pilsners to enjoy...

Hocus Pocus isn’t really outstanding, but it’s not offensive either. It’s worth drinking. Or maybe it isn’t. Do whatever you want with it, I’m not your dad.

This is a nice wheat beer that brings a lot to the party. Light beer with nice aroma and easy to take down.

Bottle from SJ. Brew was a bit thin for my taste. Some wheat notes. Caramel malts, hop and lemon. Ehhh. It was okay.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of orange peel, wheat, toasted grain, and yeast. Taste mimics the nose with some grassy bitterness.

Reviewed from old notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy golden orange color with a one finger white foamy head. The aroma had a light deep wheatiness that kinda covers up everything else no matter how many times I had this. The taste was basically the same that comes across fairly bland. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a hard to put down sessionability - too much wheat perhaps. Overall, uh...for me I’m not a fan, probably wouldn’t come back to.

12 oz Bottle. Pours a hazy, crisp golden apricot color with a small white head. Nose is light honey, wheat, grains. Palate is crisp with a sticky finish. Flavors of grassy hops, wheat and grains, with a dry finish.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours clear deep golden with two finger white head. Aroma is caramel malt/crisp hops, medium body, medium/low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is lots of caramel malt and crisp hop finish. Not very hoppy for an American wheat ale, wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit this.

355ml bottle. Pale gold pour. This one is absolute water. In the bud light fashion, if you want an easy-drinkign summer thirst quencher wheat beer reach for an anderson valley gose.
