COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on the classic summer wheat beer...it’s a light, crisp ale for mowing lawns, hitting lazy fly balls and communing with nature. Glowing like brilliant rays of golden sun, its malty sweetness finishes tart and crisp. Hocus Pocus is best appreciated with a wedge of orange. Offered as a sacrifice to cloudless days.

This beer rocks. It's a little on the thin side. It's not hopped way up. It's not very malty. It's just a really good, light summer brew with a touch of honey in the otherwise crisp finish. Quite possibly the USA's best lawnmower beer... with the exception of DogFish Head's Lawnmower Light.

I like Magic Hat beers. This one was a middle-of-the-road wheat beer...not bad, but not outstanding either. A good lawnmower beer, but hard to find and over-priced for what you get.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized fizzy white head. The aroma had mildly sweet malt, grassy notes, mild citrus and wheat. The flavor has mild lemon citrus, wheat grass, some light sweetness, but pretty bland overall.

KyotoLefty (10603) - Kyoto, JAPAN - APR 10, 2010
Draught at MacGregor’s in Rochester. Pale golden color with lace. Golden malt aroma with wheat, light hops, butter and citrus. Nicely hopped flavor, but not too much. Creamy, buttery, wheat malt with fruit and citrus. A nice summer drink. Dry, fruity, lightly champagne-like finish.

blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 5, 2008
Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Light malt aroma with lemon and wheat notes. Light body. Flavor has a straw note and a light lemon note. Not bad, but pretty bland. I guess it would be a nice summer beer.

Magic Hat is always on the verge of getting it right. This pale ale is...well...pale. It’s plain, light, nothing to get real excited about. About two dollars over-priced. And don’t be fooled by the self-description. This is not a wheat beer.

Draft. Pretty decent beer. Aroma is sweet, and flavor is a little fruity. The only downside was that it felt a little watery.

Bottle Pours out a yellow topped with a white head. Aroma of wheat and malts. Tast of grain and a touch of hops at the end.
