Poured from the bottle into a pint glass to sample. The beer had a cloudy, churning straw color with an average-sized creamy white head that had good retention and solid lacing, along with great cling. The beer’s aroma featured straw and grainy hops, along with light yeast and wheat, and touches of fruit, floral, and caramel notes. The beer was initially lightly sweet and a touch fruity, but becomes a bitter-sour grainy mix with notes of straw and yeast. It was a fairly dry beer with high carbonation, but was a touch thin with a light mouthfeel.

Do not like nose, stale and not pleasant. Taste is strong and very bitter in the finish.

2 oz. sample at the brewery. Light hazy gold color. Aroma is Saaz and a grassiness. Light dough.

Flavor is ok. Wheat base with a nice lingering bitterness from the herbal/ grassy hop with notes of hay. Medium body with proper carbonation. Solid amount of bitterness that lingers well after the sip. Pretty decent.

26 oz bottle. Misty golden brown with a fluffy white head. Nose is orange marmalade, grass and zwieback. Oily medium body almost cloying with dull carb. Taste is orange juice concentrate, marshmallow and slight bitter grass. Another iffy style for me.

(bottle - corked & caged 750 ml) Clear gold pour with a fizzy head. Sweet malts and hops in the aroma. Nothing special really. Flavor is just sweet malts and too much carbonation. Bordering on sickly sweet.

Plagued by a solid #9 finish. The aroma and flavor start off decent, hoppy with a respectable malt back, but then WHAM finishes all fruity like 9.

Tap at Eddies. Filtered looking orange-tan body below a steady creamy white head. Nice crisp hop aroma, but a little fruitier taste than I would want for the style. Noble hops carry it. Nice fruity depth. Above average for a Magic Hat. Really grows on you the more you sip on it.

Bottle, caged and corked. Deep, dark gold-bronze pour. Thin but sudsy head. The aroma is simply big, sweet and biscuity. The beer drinks thusly. Rich with a definite alcohol presence, thickly malty and bready. Good stuff though. (#5424, 2/2/2014)

Where and how: NY state , bottle 750 ml
Aroma average intensity. Soft malty feel with good but not bold herbal hop feel. Slight touch of caramel, hop acid and red apple. Dry alcohol on top a la Polish Mocne.
Appearance :3-
Top: medium sized, creamy whit top that created nice rings on glass.
Base: hazy amber.
Palate : medium bodied, with tad lighter yet well paired to body carbonation. Smooth clean top.
Taste: hop presence is far more accented in taste than in aroma with elements of sap. Nice refined bitterness with solid base of malts.
Other notes solid drinkable with warming heat.
