UPDATED: OCT 5, 2011 Bottle. It poured a cloudy amber with a reddish hue in color almost like a dark cider. It had a very small tan head that was fully diminishing and had fair lacing that did a good job of sticking to the glass. The aroma was mild of a toasted bread malt, a piney hop and a touch of an earthy yeast with hints of citrus and caramel. The taste was surprisingly mild with the with a touch of malts and a hint of caramel in the beginning, then becoming a tad more on the bitter side with a note of citrus at the end. The flavor was left to linger well after the swallow allowing some mild enjoyment until the next sip. The mouthfeel was a little light in body for an IPA and had a semi-dry texture to it with a nice soft carbonation. Overall kind of mild for an IPA. Although nice tasting and quite drinkable, most definitely could have stepped it up a notch in the hops department.

bottle. Poured cloudy deep amber with an off-white head. Herbal citrusy hop aroma. Medium-light bodied, smooth carbonation, creamy mouthfeel. Highly malt flavour, notes of caramel, apricot, bitter citrus peel, peppery spice, slightly resinous.

Just not much to this. A little hops but a bland flavor. Not sure it's really an ipa.

I always try to grab a few bottles of Lucky Kat when Magic Hat periodically rolls it out. Nice IPA with just a touch of malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear bright copper body under a small fizzy off-white head that faded fairly quickly. The nose is malt forward with caramel and toffee, a lesser amount of piney hops. The flavor is a bit boring, some sweet malt at it’s base, light to moderate bitterness, a rather nondeScript hop profile. Light to medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Meh, this was alright, but nothing that stands out as a whole.
