labeled as "Encore IPA" in Winter land sampler pack. Pours a hazy orange with a small white head. A very nice sheet of lacing. Grapefruit hop aroma. zesty from the wheat with notes of baking soda. Flavor is BIG on cascade hops. Lighter body with high carbonation. Dry finish that does have bitterness but not real bad on my palate. The wheat helps knock down the bitterness. Well done! skoll (420) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - JAN 2, 2011
Bottled under the name Encore, for a variety pack from the grocery store.
Pours a cloudy maize capped with a frothy white head. Resiny hops leap from the glass, and grapefruit and oranges lend a very west coast profile to this east coast brew. Medium mouth-feel delivers an ample malt backing of light cereal grain that is quickly superseded by aggressive hop bitters. Slight sweetness floats on the top throughout. williamstome (2038) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 30, 2010
Cloudy cider orange, foamy head. Aroma is orange/citrus hops, fruity. Flavor is citrus, bitter hops. Dry finish. SiddFinch (156) - Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2010
Encore: Pours cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is bready, apricot. NIce, oily mouthfeel. Taste is apricot, mix of citrus (orange, lemon) with a subtle bitterness at the end. This is a little mild for an IPA but I really like it. Very drinkable. hopdog (13249) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2010
12oz bottle. Poured a medium amberish color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, wheat, and floral. Tastes of the same.

Bottle. 12 oz. Pours a slight chestnut brown. Small tan head. Aroma of cherries, wheat, and dry hops. Some slight breadiness. Smooth, malty palate. Decen.t murphym45 (779) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 28, 2010
Nice hoppy aroma with some citrus and herbal notes. Fairly bitter, medium bodied. Hoppy finish, a bit harsh on the palate. mackus2 (156) - Edison, New Jersey, USA - DEC 27, 2010
12 oz bottle. Pours cloudy orange gold with a nice kind of fizzy off-white head. Pine and citrus aromas, some wheat and yeasty rotten fruit. Taste has a tart stank and some nice fruit notes with a wheaty mouthfeel, medium body and a little sticky caramel. A nice twist on an IPA but it really does feel more like a Spring brew than a Winter one. jmm635 (1017) - Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 27, 2010
Slightly cloudy, between yellow and golden in color. Large white head. Fruity, citrus aroma with some hop character. Not much wheat to go around. Sweet flavor with not even bitterness for my tastes. Forgettable is the one word that comes to mind. ChainGangGuy (4941) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - DEC 22, 2010
Appearance: Pours a clouded, amber-gold body with a foaming, off-white head giving a lasting wispiness.
Smell: Modest malts, pale and wheaty, beneath fragrant hop notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pine blossoms, and a bit of pineapple.
Taste: A lightly bready, lightly sweet taste of tangy malted wheat and pale malts. I gotta say, even right at the beginning, the mouthfeel starts thinning out at a record pace. Hops yield citrus fruits, leaning towards tangerines, with some minor florals and ample bitterness giving this wheat ale an IPA leaning.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Essentially, it’s a passable wheat with a decent IPA hop profile. Maybe not a home run, but at least a well-played single.
