Bottle in Florida. Golden color. Floral hop aroma, orange peel notes, lemon. Light body. Average carbonation. Wasn’t expecting much but this was pretty good. jsmerig (1719) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Aroma similar to an IPA. Pours pale and yellow with a white head. Taste is crisp and clean with a pleasant aftertaste. More of a spring Ale. I'd buy a sixer.

New Beer Distributors, NY 12oz ($2): Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is flowers, but not at their prime... more like the stems and leaves than the aromatic parts. Taste is like a mediocre blonde ale with some elements that I suppose are, in part, thanks to the flowers. Lightly hopped. Bready. This was worse than I thought it would be. ronaldtheriot (2020) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - FEB 26, 2013
Magic Hat Pistil has a medium, frothy, off-white head, a hazy, yellow-golden appearance, some lacing left behind, streaming bubbles, and an enormous amount of fine white particles floating throughout. The aroma is a strange mix of sweet malts, acidic juice, and freshly-mowed grass. Taste is of pineapple juice, weeds from the lawn, acid, sweetness, bitterness, and plant stems. Mouthfeel is medium, and Magic Hat Pistil finishes dry and tart. Overall, this is an usual, yet interesting beer. RJT

Bottle at home in CT. Pours clear gold with a slight, white foam head. Some tangy citrus in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, some grassy bitterness, sugary malts and orange and lemon. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Light doughy malt sweetness to finish, some further grassy bitterness, dry lemon peel, subtle tang. So so.

Yellow, almost but not quite clear, fizzy white head. Smells grainy, grassy, with a whiff of corn. Flavor is cereal, a bit grassy, and an odd bitterness that seems familiar but I can’t quite place it. Dry, slightly woody finish. rougeau13 (3276) - Richmond, Texas, USA - FEB 22, 2013
Slightly hazy yellow with a big foamy white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, flowers, and herbs. Taste is yeasty and flowery. Body is light-medium with above average carbonation. Not bad; like a saison but somewhat thin. Christpuncher (3215) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 22, 2013
This is a real unique ale. Made from dandelions it has its own taste. Little fruity an earthy. Smooth with little aftertaste.

Pours light organish yellow with white head. Smells of floral, grass, and piney. Mild, mellow bitterness, with very slight bitter finish. For what it is, I really dont have any complaints. Great if your out in the yard in the summer. Not bad.
