Points for the strange factor - dandelion beer? Interesting. Spicy and faintly sour. I think pilsner when I drink this one. alcaponejunior (445) - Texas, USA - FEB 20, 2013
I’d say it’s pretty good looking. Clear and lightly tan with a big fizzy white head that surprisingly had really good staying power and left good lacing. Rising bubbles are plentiful.
Aroma is lightly grassy, a little spicy, and a bit floral.
Flavors that come through are reminiscent of a spring field, with floral, grassy, herbal, with a light hops bite.
Body is very light, well carbonated and a bit fizzy, easy to drink with a slightly grassy aftertaste.
Overall it’s a nice summery type beer, which ironically, I’m drinking in the dead of February. Nothing spectacular but worth a try if that’s what you’re looking for. Great for Saturday yard work. LiMuBai (227) - - FEB 19, 2013
Pours a dirty, gold color. Alot of carbonation and a medium head, with lighit lacing. Aroma is of malt and light citrus.

12 oz bottle from the Spring Fever sampler case. Thought my mouth was gonna dry out and crack from this otherwise insipid concoction. If this is what dandelion gets ya, please stay away from further experiments magic hat. BLECK!

A like this beer. A bit grainy but it has a great crisp bite to it. A bit heavy for the style of a golden ale but it certainly works for me. Underrated I say. Studentofbrrs (99) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 16, 2013
Cloudy golden in colour with minimal to no head, nice fruity aroma with a little hop touch, earthy taste with bitter dry finish

12 oz. Mostly clear orange-amber body with a smattering of bubbles. Mild nose of citrus and toast. Taste is a bit bolder with crisp citrus and fresh cut grass bolstered by some honey toasted cereal. Light body is crisp and tingly with carbonation and hops. Nice change-up for a summer session pale ale.
