Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance - Served a light golden orange colored brew with a one finger fizzy head. The head has a lighter level of retention, fading to leave a moderate level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is a bit grainy and musty with some notes of a bready like smell. Mixed with these aromas are floral and grassy smell (dandelion?)l as well as a bit of light fruit aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a more crisp bready taste with a decent level of graininess. As the taste advances a floral and grassy flavor comes to the tongue more toward the middle with them growing stronger to the end of the taste. Along with this an almost hay-like flavor comes to the tongue combining with the rest to leave an odd wild field taste with grass, hay and grain.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is rather crisp with a carbonation level that is on the medium to slightly higher side. It is nice for the style and makes for a nice crisp feel on the tongue.
Overall – Nothing all that fantastic here. A little unbalanced with too many grassy and herbal flavors and not enough other flavors to mellow them out.

Bottle to pint glass. Pour is straw yellow and a bit cloudy. Aroma is grassy, and flowery, and a bit like lemon skins. Taste is mostly lager like with some nice citrus and floral notes to it. It is a bit thin and watery though. Finish has a good amount of carbonation but leaves a grassy linger. Overall not bad. Decent on a hot day.

Bottle. Taste is straw, water and a bit of citrus. Ah, Magic Hat.....man they try hard but they just don’t quite get there. teemoney (95) - Wisconsin, USA - JUN 29, 2014
Pours clear yellow with thin white head. Smell is kind of wild and flowery. Taste is light, kind of typical lager taste with some sour/ grassy flavor. Mouthfeel is good. Overall, not really that great, but ok for a different summer flavor.

Pale golden with a floral and grassy aroma. Body is light but mouthfeel is not bad due to addition of oats. Flavor is bread and malt. Finish is relatively clean. Better than my expectations. Malaclemys (464) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUN 6, 2014
Pours light yellow with white head. A: floral, honey, caramel, sweet malt. T: slightly tangy, floral, honey, citrus. Light body with a balanced finish. TheHopster (1111) - Netcong, New Jersey, USA - JUN 5, 2014
(Bottle). Pours a slightly hazy golden complexion with quickly dissipating head. The flavor is a summery light and watery with slightly bittersweet taste. Could be more interesting if they used more dandelion. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Jay_Dubbz (103) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 27, 2014
Poured from 12oz bottle. Wonderful floral opening with a smooth malt character followed by a sour bite. Great beer for a hot day in the sun.

Bottle from Fresh and Easy: Aroma is mild and has a minor scent of crushed coriander seeds along with a pinch of ground clove. Also, it did smell as if there was flowers but it wasn’t until I read the description that only then I was convinced it was really there. Liquid was hazy glowing yellow hue with tons of sediment floating about while a thin layer of foam quickly fizzes down. The flavor follows the same profile as my nose sniffed out but the delicate sweetness combined with the soft delicate touch of acidic bitterness make this a much tastier recipe than the mass distrubted Magic Hat #9, but still is nothing special considering the remainder of beers on the shelves.
