Pistil Pours a golden slightly hazy with medium amount of small bubbles. Nose is faint hops and something hard to distinguish. Taste is malty, slightly sweet and a savory touch of something like french onion soup. Body is mildly lively. finishes clean. refreshing beer. ben4321 (6422) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 31, 2013

Aroma: The aroma is on the lighter side, with bread, grass, a little straw, and light herbal notes
Appearance: It pours a clear gold-orange color with a large, quick fading, foamy white head
Flavor: The taste is similar to the nose, it is light sweet and light bitter, malty and herbal
Palate: The body is fairly light, and it has so much carbonation that it hurts the drinkability
This wasn’t a favorite for me. The nose and taste are both fine, but nothing special, but where this one falls apart is that it is completely over carbonated. Its not great otherwise, but with a little more drinkability it could have been better.
A golden body with a white head that had good retention and nice lace. Aroma had a soft malt note upfront with a nice floral presence to it. Reminding me of baby powder, but not in a negative way. Flavor was initially sweet. No real hops, but a nice floral flavor to it. Nice and smooth, would make a good session beer. ads135 (4590) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Dandelion? I guess that’s what this dirt/grass flavor is. Has a decent, mild, floral aroma and a light appearance. Tried at Brandon’s in Lawrence in 2013. elgatoborracho (7) - Tennessee, USA - MAY 30, 2013 does not count
Light summer session beer. Flavor is mild and filled with floral, grass, biscuit. Not complex in flavor, but easy to drink.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2013 For everything listed as ingredients in the golden ale with pillowy head I thought there would be more complex overall flavors. Lightest bitterness, floral and earth flavors, come together just don’t go anywhere for me. mike67 (1196) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 28, 2013
12 oz bottle from Trader’s Joe. Pours golden with short-lived white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of piney hops and pale malt. Body is medium and tangy. Taste is of piney hops, biscuit malt and some weird staff. Finish is long and leafy. This brew is strange. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Bottle from Total Wine In Boca Raton. American pint glass. Pours a hazy gold. Thin white head disappeared quickly. Smell is slightly funky hops with earthy overtones. Taste is bland with light hops, earth, plants and leather. Really nothing exciting about this at all. chinchill (4941) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 23, 2013
undated 12 oz bottle served in a lager glass. Pour is clear with fine-grained carbonation and a durable white head. A thin partial coat of sediment was left on the bottom of the bottle.
Surprised by the moderately intense and mainly hoppy aroma. . Nice balance of hops and malt, leaving this surprisingly hoppy brew a touch sweet at the start and mildly bitter in the finish and aftertaste. Dandelion, unless specially treated, is very bitter too, so the absence of a smack of bitterness is surprising.
M: Crisp; medium-light body with medium+ carbonation; a touch of dryness.
Overall: A tasty and distinct ale worth seeking out, and worth selecting when a summertime refresher is desired that’s bolder than usual.

Cloudy yellow/gold with frothy white head; a good amount of lacing. Smells fairly yeasty; also has an aroma of hay but it’s pretty weak. Flavor is similar to a grassy pale ale. Not very bitter overall, but has a bitter finish. Lively carbonation and light body.
