COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stop and smell the petals. Pistil is a summer beer unlike any other, brewed with a combination of dandelion petals, Pale and Acidulated malts, flaked oats, and Apollo and Northern Brewer hops that results in a one-of-a-kind beer with a slightly sour acidity and a smooth malt body. Perfect for taking down deep thirst.

Little floral flavor and aroma. A little more than medium body. Decently easy to drink - a so so beer all in all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured a clear yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of bread, straw, light citrus and light yeast. palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, citrus and a hint of straw with a smooth finish. Not bad just boring, I’d rather drink a well made Pale Ale.

12oz bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy light yellow with a finger of fizzy white head. Aroma is grassy light floral smell with a bitter characteristic. Taste of light malts, wheat, and a bitterness from hop and the dandelions.

Yellow pour with foamy white head. Aroma is light sour and skunk. Light dry malt and a light sour malt finish. Not much bitter. Light bodied and fizzy. Flavor is not skunky so maybe it’s my nose,

Tastes ok, not very impressive, short sweet taste. Not much too it. Interesting attempt though. Some floral sweetness that is a little bit unique.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with minimal white head. Overall some garden notes of dirt and flowers with a moderate level of diacetyl. Some flower sweetness and some faint presence of lactic acid. Light body. Diacetyl really gets in the way here.

12 oz bottle pours a golden with an enormous amount of suspended floaties and a big, fluffy white head. Aroma stings the nostrils. Definitely floral, but earthy in a weird way. Flavor is very earthy, a bit sour. Kinda like a light Berliner Weisse. Also finishes slightly metallic, which isn’t very nice. Still wouldn’t be bad on a hot day while grilling.

Light summer session beer. Flavor is mild and filled with floral, grass, biscuit. Not complex in flavor, but easy to drink.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks decent; a slightly hazy gold with thin white head that dissipates into lacing pretty quickly. Smells lightly floral. Tastes like it smells with a bit of acidulated malt and very light hops. Average on the palate with a slightly tart mouthfeel. Underwhelming.

Bottled (New York C)
Slightly hazy orange color, decent white head. Herbal, grainy aroma. Light-bodied. Pale malty, light citrus and notes of herbs. Refreshing.
