Magic Hat Saint Saltan Gose is a nice session version of this German style. Pours nice with a decent head and amber color. Aroma is similar to a wheat beer. Taste is also reminiscent of a good wheat beer but with a slight sour note and a hint of smokiness.Saint Saltan is a tasty Gose that you might look forward to every year. Lightly sweet, lagery, cereal-malt aroma. Clear, or almost clear gold; fantastic label - a real iconic masterpiece. Sweet, seawater, graham crackers, an edgy bitterness. Malty aftertaste, medium body, effervescent carbo. Like a sweetish Kolsch with mineral tones. I really enjoyed this, and would like to be able to buy it on its own, without its Spring Fever mixpack brethren. Publix, Bradfordville. 12Oz bottle poured into a pint glass yellow cloudy appearance, one finger slowly dissipating head, skunky aroma but very tasty. I would drink this often if it wasn’t so salty. I’m sure that sea salt will bring your blood pressure up in the long run jsmerig (1585) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Aroma of a pilsner. Fizzy. Taste of grapes. Interesting. Finish is wet and lingers on the tongue. Slight aftertaste of raspberry.

Pours pale gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes to coat surface leaving no lacing. Sweet caramel and yeast aromas. Sweet caramel and dough upfront turning to dry salty crackers before the medium length earthy finish.

Bottle from the Spring Variety Pack, shared with Caressa. Crystal clear golden pour, small head which recedes rather quickly. The aroma is floral, corny, lagerish, sweet. Light bodied, floral, coriander, husky grains, cracker, mellow saltiness. Creaminess on the finish. Underrated. LtDan (1806) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - MAY 6, 2013
Appearance: Pours a bright yellow gold. A little hazy.DrinkinWell (389) - - AUG 18, 2013
Aroma: Husky grain, low tide/sea weed.
Taste: Corn, earthy grain, truffle. A little salty with subtle tartness.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied. Lively carb.
Overall: A fun, drinkable little beer. I haven’t had too many goses, but so far I’m a fan of the style.
I’m a sucker for gose beers so I’m a bit biased toward this one. Salty but not too salty. Light citrus (lemon or coriander) with nice malts. LuckyDog (615) - - JAN 2, 2015
Everyone seems to be doing a Gose these days. This is less sour than most. The coriander is understated. Very smooth and drinkable. Leighton (21235) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2013
Bottle at home in CT during The Oscars. Pours clear yellow with a light, white cream head. Pale, bready malts in the nose, some cereal. Light to medium sweet flavor, doughy malts, light hay, hints of honey. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Simple, doughy malt finish, some light coriander, wheat, white bread. Easy drinking.
