Rated on 01-30-2010 (Draft) This beer pours a small tan head that mostly diminished, transparent body, no visible carbonation, fair amount of lacing, and a golden hue. The Aroma is malty, hoppy, caramel, and nutty. The Taste is malty, hoppy, bitter, caramel, and has a dry finish. The Palate is smooth and this is a medium bodied beer. All-in-all, just a so-so tasting beer without a lot of pizzazz to it. This is a beer that did not leave me wanting more of. shigadeyo (3819) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 1, 2013

Spring 2010 Vintage
7/20/2010: Magic Hat Vinyl Lager Spring Seasonal... Aroma: Toasted grains; bread crust; almond; light caramel syrup. Appearance: Hazy coppery-gold color; contains some fine suspended sediment; frothy beige head; minimal level of visible carbonation. Flavor: Toasty sweet malts; dried leaves; doughy (slightly yeasty); a touch of caramel; moderate earthy-floral bitterness in the crisp, spicy/grassy finish. Palate: Medium-bodied; smooth; calm mouthfeel. Overall: Nothing like I had expected, but better than expected; this is a tasty Vienna-style lager; I would drink a 6-pack of this...

Amber pour with a small eggshell head.Very malty aroma with some raisin and brown sugar in the background.Flavor is malt, a little grass, slightly sweet, grassy finish. A little on the thin side. Nothing bad about it but hard to recommend. BillWyce (1116) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2012
From notes: Poured hazy orange-amber with a 1-finger bone-colored head. Bready yeast aroma with a sweet malt note. Medium body with a slightly lingering finish. Flavor was mostly bready yeast, giving way to a malty sweet note. OK. Strangebrewer (1373) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 15, 2012

Heavy amber color, ring on the head. Soft perfumed malt nose, some stone fruit notes and sugar. Melanoidin body, wood, pleasant stone fruit flares. Quite nice NeoHippie2 (1074) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - AUG 27, 2012
Amber pour into the glass with a white head. Notes of malt on the nose. Crisp, clean, and refreshing but lacking the depth I’ve become so fond of with Magic Hat. Not bad, but could be better.
