glennmastrange (2871) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - FEB 8, 2010
Tap. Aroma is of toasted, almost burnt, light resin , some toffee and a hint of paper plant. Head is small, frothy, slightly off-white, with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery witha lively carbonation. An average tasting beer, probably easy to drink with bar food. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 8, 2010
This poured a cloudy lighter brown color with an eggshell colored head. Aroma was malty nutty and a little bit of stale garbage. Flavor was nutty and something else that I can only describe of offensive burnt malt. This stuff was almost a drainpour for me. tnkw01 (1753) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 7, 2010
Bottle. Just an average beer. Has a nice amber color but everything else about this beer is so average. Drake (13741) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 7, 2010

12oz bottle. clear amber under a small frothy white head. malty and toasty with a touch of lemon. flavor is similar. a bit on the bitter side instead of the sweet toasty malt side. light body with a spritzy carbonation. a good one for mass consumption. vmf226 (3) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 5, 2010 does not count
12 oz. bottle.

sickly sweet burnt smell
if rotting grass or clover had a taste, this would be it

Tallahassee, Fl. - Market Square Liquors - 12 oz bottle - part of a Spring Mixed 12 pack. Darkish copper pour with a light off-white head. Neutral aroma with just a hint of nuttiness and some roasted malt. Subtly sweet flavor with some toasted bread notes, some nuts, a bit of muted citrus, but overall a bit "mushy" and damp. Mouthfeel, rather plain. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 4, 2010
Clear, brown-amber with a beady head. Label is a psychedelic album cover - reminiscent of Sgt. Pepper meets Led Zeppelin. A light toasted soy nut aroma. Dry, toasty/roasty, slightly nutty, an unusual beer. It’s like a well-done vienna with a shot of porter. Not terribly complex, but you could drink a mess of these. It’s got character, and dark notes, but it isn’t clingy. ABC, Betton Rd. spkldhenlvr24 (517) - Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 3, 2010
Bottle. Pours a clear brownish copper body with a small khaki head. Aroma has some light roasted malts, nuts, soapy with some caramel. Flavor is much of the same but with some nice malt background and smokey notes. Sweet light bodied finish. Not bad...ehhhh
