Amber. Smell is malty, sweet, with a background of something else. Read another rating that described it as biscotti-like. That is spot on. Taste is biscuity with a sweet finish that is berderline too sweet. Not bad but not one of my faves from magic hat.

Cloudy amber, tall tan head. Scent is caramel. Taste is light sweet fruit, caramel, a touch of bread, malt....just slightly nutty.

If you like sweet lagers, you will like this one. Light caramel color with a very slight nose. It has a light yeasty taste. Not a big finish. Pleasing beer.

a nice red color. a very light aroma with hints of caramel. a light flavor with light of breadiness. the finish has an interesting flavor that I can’t place that sits on your tongue for a LONG time. maybe hints of anise.

Bottle from the brewery. Clear amber pour, small white head. Quite malty, light grassy hops. Nothing much, but quite refreshng after a warm afternoon of yardwork.

Worth trying. Not too inspiring. Magic Hat is a great brewery that has some better stuff out.

Growler. Kind of hazy amber. This is a decent lager. Some caramel malt and a slight hop bite. Website says it has Northern Brewers which I like, and make it bear some resemblance to Anchor Steam.

rondphoto (4483) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAY 21, 2012
Clear medium amber with a long-lasting head covering and cobweb lace. Caramel malt is dominant with an earthy biscuit bitter to finish it off. Nice little diversion. (I think my sample is fresher than some of the other reviewers).

Tap at the wet whistle in abington. Straight caramel, sweet malt. Mildly watery. Boring, pointless. Another disappointment from magic hat.
