Bottle. Slightly hazy reddish orange pour with a smaller off-white head. Aroma is grassy, earthy, and caramel. Medium to lighter palate, noticeable carbonation. Taste is caramel malt, hay, and some hop kicker that actually works pretty well.

Bottle sample from backlog notes. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted grainy malts, caramel, light earthy notes, not much to get excited about.

Bottle. Pours a fizzy amber with a small yellow head that dissipates like soda. No lace. No retention. Aroma is toast, brown sugar, some chemicals. Taste is burnt toast, chemicals, old pancake syrup, artificial candies. Yuck.

Cask at Rattle N Hum. Very clean nose. Soft sweet crackery malts. Nice breadiness with a firm, spicy hoppiness. Bready and slightly yeasty. The overall character is of a fresh and well-balanced lager. In contrast to most lagers, the cask really accentuates the balance in this beer. Surprisingly tasty.

Cask. Pours amber with a thin head. A hint of floral spicy hops in the aroma with a touch of sweetness. The flavor has a bready malty base, and floral hops. A light earthy note as well. Very well balanced and clean tasting.

12oz bottle (2010) into a pint glass. The pour is clear brown with a small white head. The aroma is burnt caramel and seltzer water. The flavor is very similar.

Pours clear deep copper with white head. The aroma is caramel, lagery yeast, a touch of molasses, crystal malts and a bit of graininess around the edges. The taste is on the crisp side to start with some spicy malts and graininess and then quickly picking up sweet caramel, crystal malts and lagery yeastiness. Midway and to the finish it picks up some dry malt roastiness to help balance out the initial sweetness. Pretty nice stuff.

since the regular lineups from MH have started coming out, my enthusiasm has dropped... a vienna? ok... light ruby, low head .. light maple and some caramel .. why so many local weather updates?light bitterness, but its a vienna , so who cares.. . simple.. lackluster .. has an annoying aftertaste .. . Remember that show ’My Three Sons’? It’d be funny if it was called ’My One Dad’... wait, what?
