Say hello to the Bearded Lady, our uncompromisingly big and beautiful Imperial Stout. Born from our Dark Arts recipe she uses masses of magical malts to deliver deep chocolate, rich coffee and vinous berry flavours all complemented by a balanced yet subtly spicy hop profile. Powerful, robust, intriguing; yet decadently smooth and sumptuous, the lady demands respect…

330ml bottle @ home. Orderd from Ales By Mail. Magic Rock Rocks! Second beer from Magic Rock and this is also very good without compromises.

Tap at local taphouse. Pours black with tan head. Aromas of vanilla, espresso roasted malts and chocolate. Taste bitter coffee, slight coffee and a slight lingering sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle, pours black with a small off-white head and a lively carbonation. Aroma of chocolate malt with hints of coffee & chilli spice, dark fruits and lime marmalade. Really well balanced, smooth and moreish, dangerously so. Great beer.

Magnificent, jet black pour with dark brown head. Complex aroma off dried fruits, licorice, coffee, you name it. Awesome beer

Spina @ villaggio della birra. Scura con schiuma fine e persistente. Cioccolata, alcol e grande corpo avvolgente. Una delle migliori del villaggio.

Brown colour head. Black colour. Aroma is malty, fruity with light coffee and raisins notes. Flavor is malty too with dark fruits and lIght licorice tones., ending in a fruity and slightly roasty finish. Medium to full bodied

Bottle. Pours dark black/brown - slight red tinge when held to light. Thin tan head. Aroma is meaty (teriyaki) , a touch rubbery, chocolate... Full body, mild carbonation. Rich, with some of that teriyaki meaty thing happening as well as licorice, treacle, bitter coffee, dark choc, a bit of rum. Tasty.

Draught at The Alehouse Project, Melbourne. On July 27, 2013.
Black color, brown head. Sweet, malty, roasted, salty taste. Salty aftertaste. Warming alcohol. Full mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Sweet, malty scent.

Bottle at home, and keg somewhere... I forget... Anyway I?m rating the bottle I see before me. Pours black as an adulterer?s heart, with a thin coffee-cream head. Lasts well, good lacing. Aromas are liquorice, cream, filth, chocolate, coffee and wantonness. And plums. Maybe cinnamon. Palate is textbook smooth, with roasted notes balancing the sweet. Hides the abv tooooo well. Damned fine. I?ll say it again... Damned fine... What a lady, what a night...

Great light feel beer until the alcohol hits in, which balances well with the taste. This is a bearded lady I would be happy to kiss.
