Dark black - brow beer. Tidy tan head. Semi dry palate, quite light. Fine carbonation with a sting. Strong dark malt, bitterish and a little roasty but with a nice toffee undertone. Pretty bitter pine and grapefruit hops, leading to a dry finish. Bitter linger. Good but a little harsh around the edges.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of anders37. Pours an opaque black with a small, rough beige head. Roasty nose with a smoky touch. Solid body, heavy roast, quite some dark fruits and a rather bitter finish from both malts and hops. Serious stuff, and distinctly not US style. 030312
