Dark Arts blends 4 malts and bags of whole hops to deliver a decadently deep and indulgent experience. A luxuriously smooth mouthfeel, is followed by spicy hop notes and full flavours of chocolate, liquorice, blackberries and figs. The finish is rich and satisfying with a lingering roasted bitterness. Our stout will convert you to the dark side.

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, dried fruit, liquorice, chocolate, roasted malts and coffee.

Opaque black beer with a slight/medium beige/brown head.

Starts medium/heavy sweet with malts, caramel, dried fruit, liquorice and chocolate; ends slightly bitter with roasted malts and coffee.

This beer is intense, complex and balanced. People should know that I always drink with my brother. We had a can each and we had a huge difference in flavour profile. One was sweet with dried fruit and liquorice, while the other had loads of roasted malts and coffee. Added together however, this beer is amazing. Deep and strong flavours with a lovely smooth and creamy palate.

Can from Real Ale Store, Newark. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste were liquorice and chocolate with a touch of dark fruit. Taste follow with a light bitter finish.

Tap @ Borefts ’15. Notes from then: Nice stout. Nothing special though. Nice malts/oatmeal hints. Some chocolate. Okay!

[email protected] Dog, Leicester. The aroma is lightly roasted, with oatyness. The flavour is quite bitter and roasted with some coffee. Overall a nice dark beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

torréfié, liquide, un rien acide et piquante. Chocolat délicat et discret en arrière plan. Le tout est très smooth et pas mal élégant ! Pas écœurant du tout, avec un petit côté "beurré" pas désagréable ...

Can. Pours black. Subtle aromas of roast malts, coffee and chocolate. Roasty bitter taste with some hoppiness. Didn’t massively enjoy it.
