Dark Arts blends 4 malts and bags of whole hops to deliver a decadently deep and indulgent experience. A luxuriously smooth mouthfeel, is followed by spicy hop notes and full flavours of chocolate, liquorice, blackberries and figs. The finish is rich and satisfying with a lingering roasted bitterness. Our stout will convert you to the dark side.

0,33l can courtesy of fabiand, big thanks for this one. BB 21.07.2017. black color, medium big coffee-colored head. smells earthy, bit roasty, spices, lightly nutty, hazelnuts, decent smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly roasty, hazelnuts, bit dusty, some licorice, cardboardish, peppery. finishes lightly earthy bitter with notes of licorice and dusty notes. okish, but not overly exciting. not sure whats wrong here, but did not like it very much.

Black body with a large, creamy, tan, long-lived head that laces the glass well. Dry, malty and strong aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee, dust and ash. Strong flavour of dark roasted malt, coffee and... hey, there are lots of hops in here as well! This is pretty close to a BIPA! The dark roasted malt is the dominant element here for sure, but there are also lots of citrus and other fruity notes, and pine needles. Fun! Medium body, dry texture and moderate carbonation. Nice!

Can 33cl. Black with a brown head. Lots of coffee, chocolate and hasselnuts in the aroma. Taste is following the aroma. The beer could have more body. It is not thin, but more body would suit this beer. Very pleasant finish

Can from Bridgend Services, Freuchie. Pours very, very dark brown. Viscous. Thin but tight, light-tan head. Aroma that is smokey, savoury and roasty......but with a lovely herbal hoppiness providing a little support. Coffee. Oxo stock cube. Hint of toasted coconut. Taste has light latte notes. A touch of vanilla ice cream. Burnt ginger bread. A little citrus...lemon, grapefruit. Really smooth. Fairly full mouthfeel. Creamy carbonation. Bit sherberty too. Burnt finish. Bitterness has real length. Alcohol is well hidden. Excellent stout.

Overall a really nice stout. Smells fantastic a bit like a mocha. Bit of toasted chocolate notes. Only thing that lets it down. Is the after taste.
