Dark Arts blends 4 malts and bags of whole hops to deliver a decadently deep and indulgent experience. A luxuriously smooth mouthfeel, is followed by spicy hop notes and full flavours of chocolate, liquorice, blackberries and figs. The finish is rich and satisfying with a lingering roasted bitterness. Our stout will convert you to the dark side.

Dark brown beer (not black) with greyish brown fizzy head that fades slowly. Primary smell is chalk, then more subtle smells of roasted malt, coffee, liquorice, hint of chocolate, and hops. Taste is bitter, lots of coffee, plums, some figs and a bit of liqourice. Mouthfeel is very mediocre, a bit watery for a stout. Nice spicy hops and pepper in aftertaste, although it could be stronger. Could be better, but certainly not bad.

330ml can. Pours almost black with a decent tan head. Aroma: roasted malts, chocolate, liquorice. Taste: roasted malts, dark fruit, coffee, some chocolate but not as much as youd think from the aroma where it was plentiful, slight hoppy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation.

Black with coffee colour head two fingers which dissipated in a few minutes. Moderate lacing Nose nothing overpowering but notes of dark roast malts and coffee. Bitter coffee bursts on the mouth hints of liquorice Follow through citrus pithiness Mouthfeel is quite lush coating all parts of the mouth pushed by the smooth carbonation ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drank after ICS reunion dinner with Winnie. Can from Brewcraft, opened at home. Opaque brown-black pour with creamy tan head. Smells of coffee grounds, dark chocolate, smooth dark malt, toasty and a little dusty, faint floral berry at the end. Taste is moderate stony bitterness and dark malt, lightly toasty, faint dark chocolate, a bit boring in that too-light watery acidic porter way, but better complemented by the smoothness of the palate. Would prefer the taste to be a little heavier, but otherwise very smooth, very drinkable, great aroma.

Can from Brewcraft at home. Solid black pour with dense tan head. Aroma is sort of coffee ground dirt, roasted malt with some spicy earthy hops. Taste is leather and berry with some bitterness. Lingering bitter tingle. Palate is on the richer side for a relatively light stout. Nice. Not bad at all.

Vellutata, ben carbonata, corpo medio-leggero.
