Dark Arts blends 4 malts and bags of whole hops to deliver a decadently deep and indulgent experience. A luxuriously smooth mouthfeel, is followed by spicy hop notes and full flavours of chocolate, liquorice, blackberries and figs. The finish is rich and satisfying with a lingering roasted bitterness. Our stout will convert you to the dark side.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2016 Pitch black beer with a beige, frothy head. Smells of rich, earthy malt and a touch of chocolate. Surprisingly light. Malty, bitter chocolate and then a splash of light, tangy, fruity hop in the flavour. The malt is quite long-lasting. Only disappointing thing is it feels ever so slightly watery. Lovely, though.

Can. Deep brown poor, moderate beige head. Aroma: roast, coffee, goat milk. Light to medium body. Dry taste. Dark malts, roast, coffee, chocolate, hops. Light to medium bitterness. OK.

0.33 l can from Pivoljub (Beerlover), Ljubljana. Shared at a drinking session with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran in the summer of 2017. Thanks! Dark brown, small to a medium beige head. Roasty, fruity and nutty aromas. Sweet. Roasty and fruity flavours. Medium body, moderate carbonation, creamy but slightly watery texture, dry finish. Very nicely in style, although not impressive.

0,33 l can. Pours dark brown with big thick lasting tan head. Nose is full of chocolate, roast malt, dried fruit, a bit of coffee. Taste is medium sweet, complemented nicely with earthy bitterness. Body is quite full, texture rich and creamy, carbonation average. Finish is long, bitter chocolate fades into bitter espresso. Rich and pleasant. Nice.

Marrón oscura casi negra con una discreta corona de espuma color crema. Son las maltas las que llevan todo el peso. Huele a regaliz y café.

Magic Rock Dark Arts. Dose gekauft im Selfridges im London. Dunkles Braun, etwas cremiger brauner Schaum. Aroma: Lakritz, dunkle Schokolade, Kaffee, Malzsüsse. Geschmack: sehr stumpf/trocken, Kaffee, dunkle Schokolade. Leicht wässrig werdend zum Ende hin.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2017 Pours a deep dark brown coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of coffee and dark fruit: fig, raisins, with a hint of chocolate and liquorice. Taste follows the nose with the taste being dominated by roast coffee and dark fruits: fig, raisin. There are also notes of milk chocolate and liquorice. Not a lot of sweetness to this, but rather a dry bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite nicely balanced, but what lets this down, just like with Common Grounds, is a somewhat light and thin body. Not a great mouthfeel, which is a real pity.

Pours a dark brown with thin tan head which disappears quickly. Average carbonation. Aromas of dark roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and a slight smokiness. Taste is rich, smooth with full chocolate and coffee flavours combining with a slight spiciness from the hops and some dark berry fruits. Finish leaves a lingering bitterness. Really enjoyable Stout.

From can. Got distracted mid tasting so didn't get good notes. Poured with big, light tan, fast dissipating head. Aroma moderately rich I recall. Taste was a little roast, Milk chocolate, maybe a bit of vanilla. Very tasty. Really enjoyed it. Would go again for sure
