COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
High Wire is our tribute to the Pale Ales of the West Coast of America, beers unapologetically hop forward in character. Let your taste buds walk this test of balance. Mango, lychee and lip-smacking grapefruit flavours harmonise against a smoothly composed malt base, which develops into a crisply bitter finish. Are you ready for our tightrope of taste. .?

On tap @ Un Mare di Birra 2016 (tasting session #1) - Color: clear golden blond beer with medium carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: very fruity domination as mango and peach, litchi notes as well. Very nice bouquet. Superb hoppy beer. Taste: medium body with nice fresh hops taste, fruity as well. Fresh mango and exotic fruits notes. Good attenuation and highly drinkable. Very superb beer. Perfect fresh IPA. Aftertaste: fruity and sweet. Mango and peach, wet sweet bitterness. Amazing.

Cask at the Bunker Hill tap takeover during Nottingham craft beer week. Pours cloudy orange with white top. Aroma of tropical citrus but lemon zest wins. I accompanied it with the house nachos to test its west coast credentials and it can survive jalapenos. Taste has a malt base with plenty of pineapples on top. If we had California sunshine in Nottingham regularly I could be converted.

Can. nose is mango, lychee, caramel, faint hint of banana and cream. Taste is lychee, tropical fruits, pineapple, leading to a moderate pine bitterness, and grassy, malty caramel finish. Well balanced and perfectly executed.

Can, pours hazy yellow with a white head. Lots of grapefruit, floral, pineapple, lychee, bit of caramal. Not that bitter initially, but pleasantly lingering bitter finish. Well balanced.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2016 Pas mal, classique.Nez avec du litchi, un peu de mangue, d?ananas, un fond d?herbes. Pas mal d?agrumes, orange et citron.Bouche classique, plutt herbale, agrumes, fruits tropicaux un peu plus discrets. Finale relativement sche. Peu de longueur. Regoutee au growler : bien plus convaincante.

Hazy gold with a loose white head. Bright aroma of kumquats, just ripe mango, lime, light bread. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Very punchy fruit - citrus, lots of tropical fruit, some nectarine - with just enough malt behind. Bitterness doesnt match the hop aromatics. Interesting how the softness of the malt makes it obvious that its English. Good.
