280117. Can from Greenslopes Cellars. Great looking can and great beer inside of it. This beer is all about the malt, no doubt about it. Red amber colour with a wavy tan head. Lots of citrus in this beer which is okay with me

Can. Pours amber with little head. Citrus, sweet malts. Not very hoppy. Low carbonation. It abruptly ends at the end, but it is very pleasent. High drinkability. Good.

Niet zoveel neus. Mooie hoppige bitterheid in de smaak. Mooi koolzuur. Verbazingwekkend lange hoppig bittere afdronk.

Cask Half Pint at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London in Dec 2011 - Deep Reddish-Brown in colour. Fruity; grapefruit and orange citrus. Hoppy; piney hops. Malty; toasty malts, caramel. Decent fruit/hop/malt balance. Moderately bitter hoppy throughout; dry finish. Drinkable. (2011-12-06)

(33 cl can from Arne’s Bottleshop & Bar; BBD: March 21st 2017) Poured at cellar temperature into a stemmed wine glass reveals a hazy copper body with two fingers of tan head that recedes to about one finger with beautiful lace. Aroma is really quite pleasant in the sense that it has a good amalgam of hops and malt. There’s a sprucy, resiny quality to the hops with a hint of grapefruit which blend in well with the biscuity malt. Oily texture, soft carbonation, medium body and a lingering, aromatic finish. Flavour has plenty of aroma notes and is very well balanced with moderate bitterness and a balancing toffee sweetness that never gets overwhelming. I was already impressed from the small sip of my girlfriend’s glass of this beer, when we visited Brewbot in Belfast back in 2015 and I’m happy to be able to revisit and make a proper rating. It is certainly very drinkable and places itself somewhere between BrewDog’s 5AM Saint and Maine’s Red Wheelbarrow in my top-5 of amber ales.

Nicely fruity, with lot of resin and grapefruit and some tracing caramel. Taste is malty caramel with hoppy grapefruit and some citrus

33cl can at Long John’s Pub, Amersfoort. Pale reddish amber with a medium off-white head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Subtle bitter and sweet tones. Caramel, malts, subtle hops and ripe fruits. Nice.

On tap. Red color. Probably a bad batch, since aroma included burned plastics. Otherwise caramel is dominant in this one. Not very good.
