From cask @ CASK Pub & Kitchen, London. This is a glowing blurry burgundy-red beer with a medium sized off-white head. It has a light malty and fruity aroma. I get tones of caramel , chocolate malts and dried fruits. Quite a nice little aroma. It’s soft on the old CO2, and it feels mildly oily in the mouth. The taste is also malty and caramel-fruity. Some ripe red apple-bitterness in the background blended with a drop of peach. Tasty and quite enjoyable. 22.07.2012

A lovely red looking ale. Smells and tastes kind of like spirits but not in a harsh way, in a nice way. Malty and a great beer.

Ambrée trouble, bonne mousse beige. Fort nez houblonné résineux, sucré (pate de fruits) note exotique. Gout houblonné résineux herbeux, avec herbes aromatiques, caramel sucré puis magnifique amertume aromatique, pin, résine, reglisse sauvage, bien longue en bouche. Whoow! Et seulement 4.6c°

Excalibur123 (494) - Soria, SPAIN - APR 29, 2017

BB 16/08/2017

Fules (1233) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - APR 23, 2017
Kicsi, gyorsan eltűnő hab, barna szín, szűretlen. Komlós, zöldfűszeres illat. Zöldfűszeres, komlós, citrusos ízek, kissé száraz, icipici karamellel. Inkább ipás mint amber ales. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas és keserű. A súlypont túlságosan a komlós-kesernyés vonal felé tolódik, nincs ami ellensúlyozza.

16-APR-2017, can @Kregme Boxen, from Arne, Westmarket. Hazy amber with a creamy, tan head. Aroma is typical hoppy red ale with nice malty stuff. Taste the same. Grape fruit, pine, caramel, fruity malt. Bitter and medium body. Simple but nice.

Canned from N D John Wines, Swansea. Walking a thin line between creamy malty caramel and nippy citrus this Red Ale is both distinct and quaffable. I want another!

Has a lovely red colour hue to it with a decent head and lacing. Taste is of grapefruit, orange and typical hoppy IPA flavours, has a bit of a bready, caramel malty finish. Price Paid: £1(out of date) - 330ml can.
