UPDATED: MAY 14, 2014 RE:RATE. Cask @ The Fox, Dalston. A completely different beer to the one i tried at Euston Tap and can only assume it was either old or a different beer entirely. This pours browny red with a grainy resin quality, some nutty bitterness, some light fruity notes. A nice flavoursome beer.

On tap at Schouskjelleren. Hazy amber with an off-white to beige head. Hoppy aroma with citrus, caramel, pine, tropical fruit, malt and hint of spices. Light to medium sweet with medium bitterness. Finish is bitter, a bit dry and quite citric. Medium body. Well balanced. Lots of flavour and a very good session beer. Refreshing and easy to drink with a long aftertaste with fruit, citrus and a decent bitterness.

Tap. Magic Rock Tap. Didnt realise I hadnt rated this. Had the option of cask or keg. I went for cold and fizzy. Lightly hazy, dark copper. Bubbly, sticky, off white head. Good, fresh, spicy hop. Orange peel. Tinned grapefruit. Smells great. Taste is moderately bitter. Some spicy dryness. Clean palate. Finishes light bitter, with a soft dry close.

Can at home. Almost clear amber with decent sized beige head. Lots of citrus with lime, grapefruit and orange. Nice caramel, soft roasted malts, a hint of cocoa. Basically what youd expect but maybe even more fruity and hoppy. Theres some grassyness in the finish too. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Decent medium bodied without the light chalky feel some red ales can have. Good beer.
