UPDATED: MAY 14, 2014 RE:RATE. Cask @ The Fox, Dalston. A completely different beer to the one i tried at Euston Tap and can only assume it was either old or a different beer entirely. This pours browny red with a grainy resin quality, some nutty bitterness, some light fruity notes. A nice flavoursome beer.

On [email protected] Aroma has citrus, some toffee and is slightly herbal. Bit hazy, brown coloured with an off white head. The taste is moderate bitter with citric hops, hint of toffee. Light - medium body and easy drinking.

Craft Beer. June 2012 with Nuffield. Great fresh hop rush. Slight lip burn, but not aggressive. Good malt base. Very drinkable.

Christos (5909) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - OCT 5, 2014
(Magic Rock Rapture) From cask at Borefts ’14 Amber red colour on the body, thick tall creamy head, with good retention, leaving heavy lacing on the glass. Aroma has light manure, a bit floral too. Taste is floral, with light citrus, maybe some thyme or rosemary, good bitterness, definitely more complex than the aroma. Low carbonation, thin body. Okay beer, quite drinkable actually.

Tap. Magic Rock Tap. Didn’t realise I hadn’t rated this. Had the option of cask or keg. I went for cold and fizzy. Lightly hazy, dark copper. Bubbly, sticky, off white head. Good, fresh, spicy hop. Orange peel. Tinned grapefruit. Smells great. Taste is moderately bitter. Some spicy dryness. Clean palate. Finishes light bitter, with a soft dry close.

On tap @ Haand Festival 2013. Amber body, medium off-white head. Aroma is catty herbal notes, citric peel, hints of earthy leaves and wet grass. Taste is cat pee, citric peel, lime, straw, hints of peaches and honey melon. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Pleasant enough, but not much more.
