Can at home. Almost clear amber with decent sized beige head. Lots of citrus with lime, grapefruit and orange. Nice caramel, soft roasted malts, a hint of cocoa. Basically what youd expect but maybe even more fruity and hoppy. Theres some grassyness in the finish too. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Decent medium bodied without the light chalky feel some red ales can have. Good beer.

Poured hazy orange brown with an off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, red berries and toffee. Medium body, flavour as the aroma, sweetly malted with a moderate sweetness.

On tap at the brewery, orange and lightly hazy with a lacy head. Big pine nose, big dry hoppy palate with strong grapefruit bitterness, but nicely balanced with malt.

Canned. Pours hazy amber with an average off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, citrus zest and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up being dry and solid bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Red IPA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Hand pulled at the Victoria, Birmingham. Finally got to try this legend. I like and agree with MRs description of grapefruit and pithy orange. Lovely red hue and beige froth. Easy to drink, but quenching and satisfying. Worth the wait.

From cask @ CASK Pub & Kitchen, London. This is a glowing blurry burgundy-red beer with a medium sized off-white head. It has a light malty and fruity aroma. I get tones of caramel , chocolate malts and dried fruits. Quite a nice little aroma. Its soft on the old CO2, and it feels mildly oily in the mouth. The taste is also malty and caramel-fruity. Some ripe red apple-bitterness in the background blended with a drop of peach. Tasty and quite enjoyable. 22.07.2012
