Pours copper red with well retained creamy head. Big tropical fruit aroma with caramel malt. Tate is big fruity hop wollop with nice caramel toffee backbone. Very very tasty. Cant help but compare this to 5 am saint. Is it better? Depends which day you get the 5 am saint.

Can at home. Unclear dark honeylike amber with offwhite head. Sweet malts, bread, tea, caramel, weedy hops, oranges, tangerine and something more exotic. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body, bit malty and bit mineralwaterlike textures. Very pleasant fat and slick mouthfeel and equally pleasing bittersweet fruity and hoppy finish.

31.7.2014. Dark amber colour. Aroma of orange hops, grass, pine Palate is soft, low carbonation. Tastes ripe fruits, earthy hops, pine, caramel malts. Despite low abv and real ale style this is tasty.

Tap, not that fresh. Hazy amber, medium beige head. Nose I smooth caramel and malt, flowery hops. Flavor is malt and caramel, hop notes. Finishes with buttery caramel, flowery hop bitterness. Lingering hops. I suspect this would be pretty nice when fresh. Still, nicely quaffable.
