Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, orange, pine, hops and citrus.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque orange/brown beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium off-white/beige head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, orange and pine; ends slightly bitter and dry with hops and citrus.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Great appearance and palate. Superb flavour for its abv as well. The aroma could have been stronger, but that is the only flaw.

From can in tapered shaker. Pours rusty red in appearance with solid one finger head. An earthy aroma blended with citrus and theres a bit of orange peel on the palate as well. Lively carbonation and hop bitterness make for a zesty finish. Nice and refreshing on the hottest day of the year.

330ml bottle. Lively pour, amber brown body, dirty white thin head. Aroma is a combination of simcoe, cascade, grapefruit. Taste is high bitterness, straight from the hops! It largely evades the palate, apart from the odd sharp crisp tingle. Long bitter grapefruit finish. Overall the aroma wins it for me. Not bad at all, but would like a bit of a softer edge on the finish. I drank this standing in my kitchen over a boiling pot of water.

On tap at Schouskjelleren. Hazy amber with an off-white to beige head. Hoppy aroma with citrus, caramel, pine, tropical fruit, malt and hint of spices. Light to medium sweet with medium bitterness. Finish is bitter, a bit dry and quite citric. Medium body. Well balanced. Lots of flavour and a very good session beer. Refreshing and easy to drink with a long aftertaste with fruit, citrus and a decent bitterness.

Cask @ Brudenell, Leeds. Ruby red body. Citric orange/grapefruit notes, pine and sweet malts on the nose. Caramel/biscuit notes come to the fore in the taste, providing a solid backbone for the tangy hops. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Great session beer.

Draught (Oliver Twist, Stockholm) - Amber/brown in colour. Hoppy and fruity aroma with notes of grapefruit, toffee and dried fruit. The taste is fruity, tangy and hoppy with nicely balanced notes of grapefruit, raisins, malt and caramel detected.

Bottle. Bronze with a small creamy head.Hoppy with a bitter finish. Lots of body considering its strength and surprisingly complex. Another good one from this brewery.

Hana @ Leskinen. Kaatuu lasiin kuparinruskeana ja kirkkaana, vaahto on melko niukka jtten pienen reunuksen. Haju on mukavan monipuolinen: pihkaa, trooppista hedelm, puumaisuutta, havua. Hieno olut.
