Pours murky red, so murky it almost appears brown. White head that disappears to a white lace that persists. Aroma of red berry, tropical fruit, pine. Taste is sweet and very hop upfront but not overly bitter. Flavours of toasted malt, fresh resinous pine, orange, red berries and mild herbal notes. A well balanced IPA. Very similar aroma and flavours to Brewdog 5am Saint (which is also a red hoppy ale) but this one just tops it with abit more of a fresher hop taste (by memory). An extremely well-crafted beer, but I’m not as keen on piney hops as many of my beers and the intensely resinous quality of this beer left quite an impression. If you like pine this should be one of your favorite beers ever by my estimation. Bijl (628) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 8, 2016
Maakun (5548) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - OCT 19, 2016
Can at home. Almost clear amber with decent sized beige head. Lots of citrus with lime, grapefruit and orange. Nice caramel, soft roasted malts, a hint of cocoa. Basically what you’d expect but maybe even more fruity and hoppy. There’s some grassyness in the finish too. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Decent medium bodied without the light chalky feel some red ales can have. Good beer. g_georgiou (571) - CYPRUS - OCT 30, 2016
Hazy brown body with a thin beige head. Aroma is caramel, malty, hoppy, some ripe orange. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture.

Can at home. Unclear dark honeylike amber with offwhite head. Sweet malts, bread, tea, caramel, weedy hops, oranges, tangerine and something more exotic. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body, bit malty and bit mineralwaterlike textures. Very pleasant fat and slick mouthfeel and equally pleasing bittersweet fruity and hoppy finish. Medium aroma of malts, caramel, orange, pine, hops and citrus.
Turbid/opaque orange/brown beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium off-white/beige head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, orange and pine; ends slightly bitter and dry with hops and citrus.
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Great appearance and palate. Superb flavour for its abv as well. The aroma could have been stronger, but that is the only flaw.
From can in tapered shaker. Pours rusty red in appearance with solid one finger head. An earthy aroma blended with citrus and there’s a bit of orange peel on the palate as well. Lively carbonation and hop bitterness make for a zesty finish. Nice and refreshing on the hottest day of the year. Jashiu (1303) - Gdañsk, POLAND - JAN 25, 2017

Nicely fruity, with lot of resin and grapefruit and some tracing caramel. Taste is malty caramel with hoppy grapefruit and some citrus
Can 330 ml / Craftgallery - Bern (CH). Garnet beer with a creamy beige head persistent on 2 mm. TRopical fruity aroma of hops, grapefruit, pine, orange. The taste is bitter-sweet with rich malt roasted and caramel, fragance of citrus, resin and fruity of orange. The whole is perfectly balanced. Moderate bitter and caramel not too soft. Very aromatic beer.
